I arrived at the home the next day to find the kitchen and basement flooded with water. The dishwasher was leaking so I contacted Dand L and they agreed to come to the home promptly. After showing up, I was asked if they could take the water line connection back to their shop so they could examine it. The service tech and I looked it over and it was obvious the line was kinked and probably occurred as he rolled the dishwasher into place. (Turns out they took it so they could cover their tracks but I didn't find this out until later).
After contacting Dand L to find out how they were going to handle the clean up, I was informed I should contact my insurance company. I then asked why I should contact them when it was clearly a faulty install, I was informed that since I didn't use their parts and that the new parts that were included with the dishwasher, there was no warranty on the labor or service they provided and they weren't going to be responsible. I asked them repeatedly who provided their liability insurance and they refused to answer. I went to the shop to get the hose connection that they removed and they refused to turn it over (even though it was a part I owned and came with the dishwasher) and threatened to call the police to have me removed from the premises. After twenty or thirty minutes the owner agreed to show me the part and when brought back into their shop, he showed me a different part and said it was obvious there was no damage to the part and it must have failed. I told him he was a liar as the technician and I looked over the part prior to it leaving my premises and it was obvious that it was damaged and this wasn't the same part.
All in all, no matter the details this is what happened. Dand L installed a dishwasher, the dishwasher connection leaked and flooded my home, Dand L refused to be liable and fix the problem, then Dand L became quite obnoxious and there was no concern on their part other than to cover up their screw up.

Arrived at my mother's place to discover that her furnace wasn't heating. Called Dand L and the young man on night duty answered immediately, and in just a few minutes arrived at the house. After about nearly a hour he was able to get it working. He explained it needed a new part which he didn't have on hand. He returned the following day, took the part to find a replacement part. He was gone for over an hour or so because he had to go to several locations is search of the replacement part and he also consulted with some more experience people at his office. The young man completed the job. I do not remember what we actually paid, but remember for all the time and effort he put into this project the amount was reasonable.
I was very please with this experience with Dand L and rate it an A. Though when I had Dand L install a new water heater at my place, an older gentleman did that, took him all day - including periods he left for things. For this job I feel I was over charged, not comfortable with the service he provided and would rate this job a C.
Over all I would recommend Dand L as second, and Jacobson as number one.

Very punctual and professional.

A gentlemen was hear right away Monday morning. He took a look at it, went back to the shop and then came back and fixed it. It was done in like two hours. He did an excellent job. He replaced some other pipe that wasn't included in that deal. Then they came in and put in that furnace. It was a hot day. In fact, I asked them if they wanted to wait a couple days, but they said "nope were coming to do it." So they pulled out the old furnace and put in a brand new one. They did an excellent job.

The plumber came in and introduced himself. He checked over everything and got all the supplies he needed. He was very efficient and pleasant. He explained everything he was going to do before he did it so we knew what to expect. He was very respectful and cleaned up after himself. He answered all of our questions, even those that did not cover what he was working on that day.

The lady that answered the the phone was very professional and well organized. The plumber located the leak quickly, and fixed it promptly, within an hour. He explained the leak clearly and how he repaired it.
