+ -1 moreRefused to issue a quote for the wallpaper in two small bathrooms -- even though he specializes in wallpaper. Owner said we would "just have to trust him and pay him $30 an hour." So he asked for a blank check that we refused to give. I even told him he could peel the wallpaper to see hard it would be to get off the wall, and I even peeled some off right in front of him. He was also mad because we insisted on using our very expensive paint on the painting part of the job. Later he called twice with a $1900 quote on the painting which I considered a bit high without him providing paint, but still offered no help on the wallpaper! Trust a contractor to work as many hours as he wants?
