SCHUTZ'S TREE FARM INC

Schutz's Tree Farm is an excellent company. They have excellent stock and we have been very impressed by the trees they have planted, and we have planted. Example I planted 4 white Spruce trees that were large enough and required a small tractor to help us get in the ground, some three to four years ago. They were about 6 feet tall. They now stand over 15 to 20 feet high and are extremely healthy. We also planted 5 smaller white pines that were maybe 2 to 3 feet high and they are now over 10 feet high, everyone of them. The only problem we had with them were the deer nibbling on them over the winters but they have all recovered and are giving us privacy along our property line. We also bought over 200 seedlings form Schutz last year and this year. Most of them are doing well even with the extreme draught we are experiencing this year. Shutz trees rock. They grow their trees on some of the best soil in the world, since Imlay City is noted for its peat.
