HUNTINGTON CLEANERS

I sent some questions via the Angie's list website about Huntington Cleaners' prices, and I never received any reply, so no work was done.

I took my sheer drapes in to their Coolidge location on a Friday and they could not give me a price because they had to send them out to another location. They would call me with a price which never happened. So I called on a Wednesday and they said they would call me back. Never happened. So I called again one week later which was the scheduled pickup date and they still did not have a price, but called the other location and the price came back as over $200. Since I paid $60 at another cleaners, I obviously said no. Now I have to wait until they are returned to pick them up.

Their price is reasonable, but they are not a bargain basement cleaner. They do wonderful work with linens, table linens, curtains, draperies, and high quality clothing. They are really responsive. The person who does the pickup and delivery is a delightful young man. Almost anything that he picks up on Monday is returned to me on Thursday or picked up on Thursday is returned to me on Monday. Unless it is a very unusual task, it takes very little time to have it done. On one occasion, a young lady who at the time was responsible for managing accounts, rode around with the delivery man to meet the customers. She did this over a period of time so that she would know all of the customers on all of the routes. I thought that was remarkable.

I use their services about every two weeks. Everything has been great. Their pricing is good.

They have never missed a day and I have been using them for about 5 months now. They send the bill in the mail. It is a little expensive but very convenient.

Service is a little bit pricey, but they do a good job. LOVE the delivery service. My husband and I go to work before most cleaners open and often come home after they close, so it's wonderful not to have to worry about picking up or dropping off dry cleaning.

Staff was very friendly and I received the coat back 4 days earlier than promised. Only 1 button hole was reinforced instead of all 3, and the stain that I pointed out and wanted removed did not look as if it was even touched. The remainder of the coat was in great condition, but for $60, I expected it to be problem free. Huntington has offered to reinforce the buttons themselves, but will not do anything about the existing stain. Bit disappointed overall, but the staff has been very professional and cordial.

Competitive priced dry cleaning with free pickup and delivery. Probably a bit expensive when you figure that you can use a coupon anywhere else if you dropoff your own dry cleaning, but they pickup laundry and drop it off. VERY convenient.
