Legacy Floors

Jeremy is smart and capable, but he made several MAJOR mistakes when replacing the hardwood throughout my entire home. We hired an inspector and then contacted him. Upon his return, we caught him "red handed" falsifying moisture readings and claiming that our un-level was within tolerance of NWFA guidelines. Boy was he surprised when I pulled out my professional quality Delmhorst meter to verify (on the spot) that his moisture claims were not only false, but impossible. We gave him the opportunity to fix the worst area in front of the fireplace, but he was only willing to repair about 30% of the worst (apx. 8 foot long) area, claiming a full repair would cost much additional money. When he pulled up some of the un-level flooring, we saw that moisture levels were fine. The boards had been installed over top of cement/mortar droppings that made the floor un-level (i.e. the floor wasn't checked for level prior to installation). He admitted that the fault was that of his new (somewhat green) assistant, saying "Tony's fault." The problem is much more serious than what I am showing in the attached pictures. However, I'll save the rest of our evidence for the courtroom.

It was wonderful! Jeremy was hands on the entire job. He and his assistant tore out the old shower and tiles. They tried to keep the dust down to a minimum, which is very difficult with tilework! Every grout line in the new tile matches up...he is very meticulous in his work and placement. He never did anything without getting our input on what we wanted (which was usually what he would have suggested anyway). We were so happy with the work that we have hired him for another remodel flooring project!

He was very knowledgeable about the products I had purchased. If there was any doubt, he would research my concerns and provide information. Jeremy was very thorough, meticulous, conscientious, polite and took great pride in his work. He was excellent in communicating and keeping me informed on his arrival time and completion time of the project. Upon completion of the project, Jeremy did an outstanding job of cleaning up the areas. He even rinsed, cleaned and swept the garage of any mess! I would strongly recommend Jeremy. The expertise and fine job that was provided was well worth the cost of the project.

It went great. Everything was done in the timeframe that was promised. Service was professional, friendly, helpful and excellent. I would and have recommended their services.

Jeremy showed up on time for the quote and the times he planned to work. He worked all day and cleaned up thoroughly each evening. He was flexible in his schedule to allow us to work with the painter doing work in the same rooms. The floors were done with a high level of precision and craftsmanship.

We have experienced a fair amount of contractors. Legacy floors is one of the best.
