Jimmies Lawn Care

We hired Jimmie and his company to do some landscaping work in mid-June, 2014.  After Jimmie?s crew did the work, the yard looked better than it had in a long time.  Upon presenting us with the bill, he charged us significantly more than what we had agreed upon beforehand, which he attributed it to "extra plants."  I paid the bill without complaint since the yard looked so good.  Even though we were very pleased with the look of things, my wife commented at the time that the plants he planted were not exactly what we asked for, for example, we did not receive any carpet roses as was agreed upon before work started. 
Within a week, weeds that he allegedly removed started reappearing, and several of the new plants he sold us started dying.  Further, several of the hostas that Jimmie?s planted in direct sunlight had instructions on them stating ?do not plant in direct sunlight.?  Of course those plants were among the dying.  Starting in early July, several calls and text messages were returned by Jimmie himself with promises from to come by and look at them, along with a promise to replace whichever plants were dying or that we did not like.  However, Jimmie failed to show up whenever he stated he would do so.  It is now mid-September, three months after the work was done.  None of Jimmie?s promises came to fruition.  More plants are dead.  Jimmie still has not shown up to complete the work he promised to complete.  Yesterday, my wife called to inquire about another visit that Jimmie had failed to make.  Jimmie hung up on her while she was talking.  Subsequent text messages were not returned.  I am beyond disappointed with the post-sale service I received from Jimmie?s, and would highly recommend against working with this company.

All the above services were performed  on a single day and although payment was provided and owner said they would return to deliver and install sod for the island removed and needed to fashion 2 flowering tree slings to stake the 2 trees. Never returned to finish the job. After multiple phone calls and texts he never delivered on his continued promises to finish the work he was paid for. Very disappointed. Lesson learned never pay full amount till job is complete.

After looking on Angie's List, I called Jimmies Lawn Care twice. I left messages on 3/31/14 and 4/7/14. As of this date, 4/15/14, I have not received a return call.

Our riding lawn mower broke, so we were referred to Jimmie's Lawn Service by our neighbors, who use their service.
We had our lawn mowed twice on 7/8/13 and 7/15/13.
Both times they did excellent job - we have 2 acre lot - 
They were neat, punctual, meticulous, and thorough, and professional.  
Lawn looked great.  They took time to trim around every tree - we have a lot.  
60 dollars per job.  
Very satisfied - if needed will definitely plan to call upon them in the future.
Would highly recommend.
