The wood floor was not smooth after they sanded and sealed it. It feels roughed up and has a gritty texture that makes it challenging to sweep.

Scott (the owner) quoted the job and did the work himself which I liked. Other companies will send sales reps out that don’t really understand the work. Scott also was able to come and do the job quickly - called him Saturday morning and he came Sunday morning - other companies were quoting 4-6 weeks out. Our home / wood floors are only eight years old so we didn’t need a significant sand and stain. Scott used a floor sander and did our first floor and stairs and stained them with a good water based product all in under two hours - I applied the second coat myself with some stain he left me five hours later. My only regret is that some of the small “chips” in the floor did not sand out - I regret not filling them in myself prior to having Scott sand the floors. I am impressed with the quality of the water based product that was used and would use it again

Scott did an amazing job on refinishing our floors!

Scott was professional, punctual and extremely courteous. He literally just finished our downstairs floors, we are so pleased that plan to have him back to refinish are upstairs floor as well. We highly recommend him!!

Quick Estimate Turn around. Showed up on scheduled day and time. Brought back my sun faded Floor to the original color . Took care of moving heavy furniture that I could not move by myself. Cleaned up after the job was completed. I would definitely recommend their services. I was very impressed on how quickly the job was done. I didnâ t notice any slacking. They kept busy from the start to finish!

RUN, Scott completely bailed on my job after being paid in full. 7 months of countless excuses: death in the family, large job, now he is supposedly working in Chicago and told me last week to find a new contractor and I am left with an unfinished paid in full job.

I BEG of you, please READ THIS REVIEW before hiring this company. I found impressive Flooring through Thumbtack. I saw positive reviews so contacted the number listed. I got a callback from the owner, Scott. He said he would come out very soon to give me a quote. I also had several other companies coming out. Although Scott was not the cheapest one, he seemed very confident & told me he had 30 years of experience and told me not to hire any of those new guys who wont do a good job. I bought into it.. he started the following week. He kept delaying, stating there were minor issues like the stain not coming in time.. finally got the product. This was supposed to take several days, but I got a text from Scott within a few hours saying that it was done. I was confused about how a coat of stain and 3 coats of poly could be done so quickly. but was excited to see the final product. We went to our new home the next day (when it was safe to walk on) and saw the disaster that was our â impressive floor. He left a MASSIVE PUDDLE of poly (the top coat) in the middle of my kitchen that was now hardened and dark (on my white oak floors). There were also SEVERAL big dark spots and uneven/rough sanded areas, as well as areas that were just never sanded down, so the previous color (brown) was very noticeable. When I contacted him, he said he would come out the following week to check it out. He came out and said oh, I poured the poly and forgot to spread it. I have not done that in YEARS! I will take care of it. He came out and fixed it, when we came in to look, it looked like he had lazily scrapped it off, did not sand, did not reapply, nothing.. just a massive STAIN in the middle of my kitchen that was now flat. Did not attempt to fix anything else. Attempted to contact him several times after.. but have been unsuccessful. I paid in full (my mistake) he told me he would give me half of my money back for my troubles.. has not done that. I got to a point where I told him. I would be filing a complaint.. he responded with HA! Good luck with that. Has not responded since. This has been a complete NIGHTMARE. I now have to hire someone else & pay WAY more money to fix this mess. Please please PLEASE AVOID this man & his HORRIBLE excuse of a company.
