Called Firehouse at 8pm and left message. One hour later Mike called me and we setup appointment in the morning. Mike showed ON TIME and immediately readjusted the wires and reset the wall button. I highly recommend Firehouse! Prompt Professional and Efficient. Thanks Mike

Provider arrived slightly ahead of appointment time. I repeated what I wanted done. I left him to his work and he did what was requested, and informed me of possible future problems that might arise on this door due to manufacturing quirks common to this door system. He efficiently completed his work, presented me an invoice for the price quoted. No problems. Period. The service man was competent respectful and efficient. Would absolutely use Firehouse Doors again.

Called at 10. appointment was for between 3 and 5 same day. arrived at 4:10 both springs were replaced and job completed by 440.

All were competent, professional, courteous and quite helpful in making suggestions and recommendations. They understood their products very well and their installed prices were significantly better than several larger competitors with whom we spoke. They removed the old garage doors, door openers. boxes the new materials came in etc. I have owned numerous homes across the country and dealt with many contractors over the past 40 years. Objectively, I would rate Firehouse at the top. I would strongly recommend them to any prospective purchaser in need of new garage doors or garage door openers.

Somehow our garage door came down on my husband's car and buckled. It's December and we are very spoiled and didn't want to have to wait to get it replaced. We called one company that said it would take a couple weeks. I called this company based on the good reviews and they were able to come out the very next day! They happened to have one in stock in the right color. It doesn't have the glass panel like we wanted, but they installed it as is and will switch it out when the glass panel comes in. That means we only had to park outside for one day. The owner was very polite and responsive on the phone and the installer did a fantastic job. He did a thorough check of our opener and said it was working fine. He could have easily sold me a new one because I was worried it wasn't working right, but he reassured me. The garage door is MUCH nicer than our old one and has a good r-value rating. I didn't do a great deal of price comparison shopping but I imagine their prices are competitive. The estimate we got from the other company was $800, but I believe that was to replace it with another construction grade door. We had the CHI 2283 installed and it is a noticeable improvement. I recommend this company highly!

This was a tenant occupied property so I needed flexibility on the date and time. I was not able to be present for the appointment. The door was replaced with a good quality door at a very good price. There was a minor issue with the door trim and they came out promptly the next day and resolved it. I would certainly call them again for this type of work.

Discovered broken torsion spring early Saturday. Called Firehouse Doors and they sent somebody to my west Lansing home the same day to replace both springs. The technician completed the job in 30 minutes or less. The price of $289 seemed a bit steep, but it was worth it for the convenience of same day Saturday service.

They did good work . Update: A spring did break several hours after installation. They came right back out, replaced it, no charge and it is now working fine.

I highly recommend this business.  All interactions were professional and courteous and a new opener was installed by noon of the day I called. It was a very positive experience for us.
