(1) They made a hole in the wall (the drywall) in one of the bathrooms. They did repair that issue.
(2) They kicked the toilet paper holder off the wall twice and they used liquid nail to repair it, which I couldn't get off in other areas. They were having trouble getting the doors back on in one of my bathrooms, so I don't know if that's when they knocked it out of the wall. They initially just left it there, and when i went in to use the bathroom, it just fell right off. They didn't even say anything.
(3) My fireplace has a piece nicked out of it.
(4) The doors that they put back on, don't close properly. They needed adjusting after the installation of the flooring, but now they don't close properly.
(5) They were walking back and forth between bathrooms on my carpet. One of the guys walked with black stuff on his feet and now that is stuck on my flooring and I'm still trying to cleaning it off. My carpets were clean, and now they are very visibly dirty. If they were going to be going back and forth, they really needed to use a drop cloth. I washed the rugs. I wasn't able to wash the oriental rug (I had just paid $100 to have that cleaned).
(6) Their carpet person came. I had the carpet removed in the hallway, but my bedrooms still had carpet. The carpet needed to be re-attached to the new wood flooring. I wasn't watching him when he did it and I don't know if the carpet needed to be stretched, but when it was re-attached it was all wrinkly. I had to call to have them fix it. The initial appointment was cancelled, but they sent out another person to fix it. He was able to get it re-attached properly.
(7) I had an outlet in the floor. I don't know if they were just hammering so hard, but the outlet just popped out of the floor. They had to come back out and repair that issue. The range has been working since they repaired it. Initially, it stopped working twice. Like I said, it's still working, so hopefully the outlet has truly been reattached to the floor.
(8) There is already a cracked board in my hallway. I had told them about it, but the owner stated that this was normal for hardwood flooring. He offered to come out and repair the issue by filling it. I have spoken to some other people and they stated that this is not normal for brand new hardwood floors and that filling the crack would only be a temporary fix. I would like them to come out and replace the board.
They always just came when it was convenient for them. They would call me the same day they wanted to come. There was one instance, I was supposed to be somewhere and I was getting ready to leave and they just showed up at my house. I waited for them to finish, but I was late for my appointment. I just feel like they have no respect for me or for my time.
