I ordered $850.00 worth of wood from this company who delivered this wood to me and was told the charge per face cord was $60.00, at dusk the wood was delivered. The next day we stacked it 4x4x8 and only had 10 cords. At 60.00 per cord I was 4 cords short. I called the family owned company and asked for them to come out and take a look. When the delivery man and daughter of the owner pulled up she was yelling before even closing her car door that I was a liar full delivery was made. The man with her saw there was only 10 cords of wood and said he would make it up to me next year and before I was even able to respond she said I stacked it wrong and it was not 4 cords short she claimed they dont add as much wood when they stack. 4x4x8 is a face cord, even if I didn't leave large holes at the ends where 4 of my ends had 3 pieces of wood not 2 as she pointed out it still didnt add up to 4 missing cords of wood. Then she changed the price to $65.00 a cord out of thin air and the man told her he had quoted $60.00 a cord unless you were getting it through DHS! Wow was I taken back, so the less wealthy are charged more! Needless to say even if I was going to be charged $65.00 a face cord I was still short 3 face cords and that was a fact. In the end my husband had to ask her to calm down or leave our yard and she refused to make good on our purchase so we lost in the least $200.00 in wood we purchased! I will never use this company again, next time I will just stick with our normal company we use I advise everyone making a purchase through this company pay attention to this fact and have your wood stacked before you pay!
