Had my driveway repaired and had a major drainage problem when the job was done most likely caused by the contractor. Offered to pay to fix it but the owner refused and told me to call someone else.

Very well he was finished with the job in 4 hrs cement looked great.

Great! 4 years later our custom cement work on drive way , new s shaped side walk (around indigenous trees/plants) ,pool patio and custom Grecian style stairs to yard are like new / Drainage/Water management (we didn’t realize we needed this, but oh yes we did!) Completed service much better than expected! Would highly recommend hiring/ Owner approachable, exceptionally knowledgeable , follows up immediately. Exceptional service.

Lou came to our home at the end of April to provide a quote for a patio, firepit, and sidewalk to go the length of the side of home (wrap from patio to driveway). Very nice man. Provided pictures of his work and it looked great. He supplied the quote and we were satisfied with the price. Stated he was busy but could do our job in July. That ended up being perfect for us since our home is a new build and final grade wasn't scheduled until late June. We accepted his quote and confirmed three times that he would put us on his schedule (first confirmation was May 1st, second was May 8th and third was May 12th). On May 12th, in addition to confirming he was doing our job, I emailed him a copy of our SIte Survey (which he requested) so that he could work up drawings to submit to our HOA. After receiving them, he replied via email, "Thx. I will make drawing this is good." On May 16th, he sent me an email at 3:50AM stating the following: "Sorry to have to do this. But I can't not do UR project as planned. I bid on a big project in March and I got it. so I'm committed to start this wk and will be tied up til Nov." I politely responded via email by wishing him well on his new job. But told him it was unexpected and put us in a terrible bind trying to find another concrete guy at the last minute. I expressed that I wished he would have honored his commit to us in addition to taking the big project. He responded with the following email: "Very sorry but I have to honor this huge contract I can't afford to loose it. You would have to do the same if u were in my spot." Can't say anything about the quality of his work. But I would not recommend using him. Not unless you're confident he won't drop your job if something better comes along. I do wish him well and all the best. But if he wants to do commercial work, then maybe he should stop quoting residential ones. He really did leave us in a bad spot since most concrete guys are telling us now they're booked all summer long and can't fit us in until October.

They were thorough, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. The project was delayed due to weather (my neighborhood had the 2014 FEMA floods and their choice to delay happened about 3 hours before the storm came). Postponing probably kept my basement from flooding, and I really appreciate this. The old driveway was removed and a new one was poured. It looks great. I'm happy with it. I've called/emailed with follow up questions and got a quick, detailed response.
