We had a large tree branch fall on our roof that caused enough damage to create an insurance claim. I was referred by a neighbor to reach out to Al at Lake Michigan Construction. He responded quickly, was very thorough in assessing the damage, and even came back a second time that day so he could try to catch a conversation while our insurance adjuster was here. Al, Kassondra, and Kari all helped with great communication and knowledge of the scope of work and materials needed to do a great job and advocated with the adjuster on our behalf. Kari had shingle samples dropped off at our house for me so we could make our color selection and Kassondra provided the quotes to us and primarily worked with our insurance company to ensure the estimate for the claim accurately reflected the materials and labor costs needed for our project. Their quote for the work came in $1,200 less than one of their roofing competitors and they spared no expense on their attention to detail and excellence on the day of our project. We even received a link to view pictures of the project taken as the work was done. Our roof looks beautiful now! I would call them again in a heartbeat for future projects and will happily refer them to my friends, family, and neighbors.

Very Pleased - Roofers arrived early, worked extremely hard, and got the job done right, in one day, with a very professionally completed new roof. And their clean-up after the roofing was done was fantastic. I would highly recommend them for any roofing project.

Did everything as promised. We're here on time finished in one day. The crew were careful of grounds. Did a great job on the cleanup. Even helped with insurance claim by providing Michigan code requirements to ins Company. Would hire them again.

I chose Lake Michigan Construction for a full tear off and replacement of my residential roof. I am very happy with the decision to hire them as the contractor. LMC is a Holland-based, family-owned, business run by Kari and Al Noyola. Both of them are actively involved in the process from quote through installation. When doing advanced research, I found that their online reviews and Better Business Bureau ratings are excellent. During the initial phase, Kari and Al provided a detailed quote for the scope of work including labor and a completely specified materials list. They took all the time I needed to understand the various roofing materials and products and how they integrate to provide a long lasting water proof roofing system. For material estimating measurements, they use a software package which was very accurate when I compared it to my original blueprint dimensions. It gave me the confidence to know that the amount of material specified was accurately computed and would be on the job site when needed. Their quote and statement of work were clear, detailed, and transparent. The time they spent with me during the quoting phase left me confident they would be a reliable contractor and use quality materials for my project. The installation crew arrived on time every day and worked consistently all day to complete their tasks. My project used named brand roofing products and all the workmanship and installation techniques used by the crew were diligently performed to look visually appealing and to meet the installation specifications necessary to assure the manufacturerâ 's extended warranty was valid. My homeâ's siding, windows, and foundation plantings were carefully covered to prevent any damage. At the end of each day, the crew removed all tear off debris and materials before leaving the site. Each night any unfinished roof work was covered and sealed to protect the house in the event of unexpected rain. The owner, Al Noyola, was actively on site several times throughout each workday to assure everything was running well and the crew had everything they needed. At the end of the project, the crew left everything neat, clean, and looking great. My home also needed some flashing repair/replacement and that work was done in a neat attractive manner adding to the visual appeal of the finished project. The roofing industry has a reputation of unreliable contractors so I was extremely concerned when looking for a reliable supplier. I am really happy I found and selected LMC for my project and very satisfied with the entire process of working with LMC. There were no unpleasant surprises throughout the project and they provided me with a beautiful new roof. I strongly recommend you talk to them about your roofing project.

On Wednesday the 31st of October my ceiling was leaking at 1:30am. I checked Home Advisor and found Lake Michigan Construction. They contacted my by 6am. Kevin sent the owner Al out to see if we could patch it until spring. It could not be done. I received an estimate from Kevin and trusted them so much I did not get another. On Friday morning the crew came out and put a complete roof on my house including OSB boards. That is an awesome turnaround guys. Thank you and your crew for taking the stress out of my decision. That was less than a 72 hour turnaround. My hats off to you all. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. Honest, compassionate, and trustworthy.

I had a severe leak in my 24 year old roof that badly needed replacing. Less than a week later they sent a crew out and had it finished in about ten hours. The crew was very professional and did a great job.

LMC Demonstrated a careful and knowledgeable effort from the start through completion of a VERY challenging repair. Our 130 year old Gambrel roof was original Cedar Shake with two layers asphalt over that, 2 dormers and attached rubber flat roof to protect. As a former contractor myself, the first impression of skill noted was the 4 person team was actually only a part of several integrated workman who worked tirelessly to wrap the roof rain-tight day one and completed it day two. The teams moved in and out seamlessly to complete various aspects with well above average workmanship. Two change order efforts were made on the fly and approved by their supervision among 2 leaders in and out both days. This experienced crew however needed little to no direction to complete any aspect of the job owing to the collective experience of all the workers. Regardless, leadership was never more than a phone call away down to the final clean up leaving the surrounding property unaffected otherwise. The estimate included 3 of the 4 main pitches which no other company would consider without re-working the one previously completed pitch. Materials were estimated with a turn-key shingle, mineral, water/Ice flashing, drip edge and custom metal valley all under the same color matched manufacturing warranty registered promptly at the manufacturer. 35% rotted skip decking was replaced ahead of 100% OSB deck which impacted the completion time but was still completed in the two days. The price of the job both materials and labor were competitive. The administrative efforts in formalizing the estimate, contract, and follow-up were all conveniently handled electronically in writing promptly. Would I refer them to others? I think in this instance I would go so far as to suggest customer's will be hard placed to find a more complete and cost effective solution with this much dedicated experience. Business model's today are loaded with promises that frequently fall short of commitment. This team exceeded its commitment in nearly every respect and did so cooperatively to the customer's need above and beyond, difficult as this job was. We had just bought our new house about 10 days before the storm hit and damaged our roof . They came out and tarped the the damaged section within a couple of hours preventing any more damage . The next day another storm hit and damaged the rest of the roof. They came and covered the rest. When they came and installed the new roof the workmanship was great . I highly recommend this company for all your construction needs. They have earned my trust .
