He was on time. The price was so nice; it was a lot lower than the other estimates. He did a good job, was polite and very quick.

I took off my front door knob for painting, and couldn't get it back on. It had somehow developed burrs or dents on 2 pieces that are supposed to slide together -- I couldn't get them to go together no matter how hard I tried. Went to his shop on River Ave, showed him the knob, and he diagnosed the burrs and dents. He showed me an identical Schlage lock (new) and how it was supposed to (easily) slide together. He worked on the burrs enough to free it up a little and got the pieces to merge.
He gave me advice on how to try to re-install it, and what to do if I couldn't. He even advised me where I could buy a replacement lock cheaper than buying from him. And THEN he refused to take any money for his help.
I love this small-town friendly service. I'd call Keppel again in a heartbeat.
