Ed was a pleasure to work with from start to finish.  His references provided outstanding recommendations, one even commenting that Ed is "too honest for his own good".  
The subcontractors Ed selected all did very good to excellent work.  They were all professional and responsive to our needs and schedule.  Notably, they all uniformly provided unsolicited praise and positive comments about working with Ed.  
Ed and his assistant were always punctual, coming to our house and completing work when they said they would.  The quality of work was uniformly excellent.  On the couple of occasions when I asked Ed to redo something to make it even more consistent with our "vision", he willingly did so.  
In summary, I believe that Ed gave us terrific value in return for the dollars we spent on our rennovation.  I cannot imagine anyone providing more "bang for the buck".  In addition, he is truly a "good guy", incredibly honest and ethical in all respects.  I could not provide a more positive review than I am for Ed and EBJ Restoration.

Ed did a wonderful job--very professional, caring, attentive.  Had the best workers to help.

He did a very good job on the estimate. He was very professional and had a lot of good ideas. I didn't have any problems with him.

Ed was the contractor but also did much of the work himself.  He gave ideas where I needed some, kept my goal of keeping costs down as much as possible.  He was extremely honest, dependable,  thorough in follow up, and had excellent people contracted to do various things as electrical and plumbing.  A very nice down to earth person who shook my hand every time he came over.
