 + -1 moreThis went great! Steve was able to get to this job within just a few days. He did all of the work within a single day while I was at work. After coming home from work, everything was done and cleaned up (even vacuumed). Prior to talking to Steve, I was concerned about the amount of drywall that would need repaired in the ceiling. He looked at the house and determined a way to do all of the installation without any ceiling drywall damage (other than the hole where the chandelier was of course which can't be helped). Steve provided me with an itemized estimate which included everything I asked for, options that I asked for, and enhancements that I could purchase or pass on (such as the whole-house surge protector). I liked the way he handled that very much and the price seemed reasonable enough that I purchased all the items and enhancements. This was the first place I have ever found and purchased services with Angie's List, and it was a very positive experience.
Description of Work: Existing chandelier over dining table was removed. 9 canned lights were installed on that pre-existing circuit, plus he ran a new switch to convert the 3-way into a 4-way. The canned lights were LED so he installed a dimmer switch that would work effectively with LED lights. 3 more canned lights were installed on another circuit (to make total of 12 cans). These were also LED with a dimmer switch. They replaced a single ceiling light that previously existed. A whole-house surge protector was installed. A dedicated circuit was ran in the basement so we could add a washer/dryer down there.

Description of Work: Steve put new wiring in my lower level, upgraded to code, installed smoke detectors throughout the house, new breaker box and arc-fault protection, gfi protection, and wired for TV-stereo system. He also installed new cam lighting throughout the basement. Friendly, trustworthy.

Description of Work: Ambrose Electrical Services relocated a couple fixtures for us. He also moved outlets from the wall to under our cabinets. It looks really good.
