Jewelry Sales/Design/Repair
Jeweler is a BULLY! This company is VERY RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL. Treated me like dirt! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
I found ads in the paper, called and saw several signs advertising that this store buys unwanted gold jewelry. I took my gold in and gave it to the lady (the lady helping me was the only nice one there). She took it in the back room where we could not see what was going on so we asked another employee why they can't weigh it in front of us. The employee seemed irritated by our questioning but said that their scale is too big for the counter.
I had several pieces of jewelry and once they came back with a price for all, I was trying to figure out what I wanted to sell right then and what I wanted to wait on. I had them weigh a necklace separate and some earrings, then the jeweler came from the back and started hollering at me. He said "you know this isn't a pawn shop, I don't need your gold. I have other things I have to do than weigh your gold." He then went on to tell me that I was wasting his time. I tried to speak up and tell him that I wasn't trying to waste his time I was just trying to figure out what I wanted to sell. He continued to try to bully me and then went to the back room again. I was kind of shocked and confused by what had just happened and why. I have been to other jewelry stores and they are more than happy to weigh things separate for you. It is my gold and I have the right to decide what I want to sell and not just give all of it away at once. If he doesn't want to buy gold then he shouldn't advertise that he does.
The only good thing about this place was the lady that helped me. I wish I would've asked her name but she was very apologetic for how her boss had just treated me. She told me that she wanted to cuss him out, and said that there was no reason for him to act like that. I was still trying to figure out what I had done.
I will NEVER go back to this business, and I would strongly advise others to steer clear. Seems like this man would only be nice if he can get money out of you not if you are trying to make money on what little you have.
