Because this building was old and far from square, Mr. Willis had to completely remove the old door frame.  He took great care in constructing, fitting and attaching a new frame that was perfectly square and level.  He built me a new hollow insulated door that was a perfect fit and hung it with sturdy hardware.  He also added a door sweep and weatherstripping as I sometimes have to heat this building in the winter.  This took most of one day so he returned the next morning to mix up cement and fill the gaps between the stones and the new frame.  By the time was done cementing,  the new door seamlessly blended in with the old building.   Mr. Willis is an experienced craftsman who knows what he's doing and doesn't cut corners.
