Michigan's Handyman

Mason didn’t show up or call to give original estimate. When estimate was given for the deck, that individual gave the estimate for the chimney when they learned the mason didn’t show. Start of deck repair was delayed 3 times, then workers didn’t show up on several days because they went to other jobs. They called me after they were supposed to arrive at my house to inform me they weren’t coming.

Professional and good work

Excellent work and very friendly

Started a day late due to weather but all work completed in next 2 days. Care taken to avoid damage to existing aluminum siding and assure sturdy construction. Did exactly as requested and promised. Cleaned up everything afterward. Beautiful job! Very pleased.

Fine except they got the scheduling day mixed up and I had to take an extra day at home

Steve and his crew were amazing. They cared about the quality of their work and if they actually fixed the problem. They called after we have had rain to make sure everything is still fixed. Of course it is because they were incredibly through. I know who our all around handy men are now!

I called 5 contractors to try and get a quote and even one that was highly rated on Angie's List (did not even offer a quote or pursue further). Michigan's Handyman was the only one who would help me. They gave me a quote and was ready to do the work on an agreeable day. They did a really good job by replacing the steps, doing some tuck-pointing, and adding a new handrail. They were professional, polite, and cleaned up after. I had no other prices to compare but I feel the price was good at the least. I will call them again.

We have black gutters and they put a white strap on it. They even asked my husband before they came out, what color of gutter do we have and he said, "Black." I came home and the strap was white. So, I called the repair person who left his card. He said he didn't know the area and he didn't know where to get black. I said, "There's a Home Depot in Coolidge." He said, "Oh, they just have green or brown." So, he just put white on, that he had in his truck. I said, "That's unacceptable." This was right before Thanksgiving. I said, "Well, can you come out?" He said, "Well, it's a holiday weekend. I won't be able to come out this week." I said, "Well, as soon as you can come out." Then we had that little snowstorm. Then the company sent someone different out. We did not pay them until they came out. But I did ask the person I called, "Well, if we need repairs during this winter, can you come out?" He goes, "Well, no, I really don't come out in the cold and in the snow." I thought, "Well, what do you do then?" His name was Jason and he was sort of irritated that I called. So, I was just not thrilled. But then, the company did send someone out, within two weeks, to fix it. He said, "Well, it's on the side of the house. I don't think it matters." I said, "It always matters. No matter what." He said, "Well, no one is going to see it." I said, "I see it. The neighbors see it."

Extremely professional. Job was well done. 
Would use again in the future for certain.

Originally a person completed all the work but did not return to finish off caulking. But the company  made it right and came to complete the job. I am very impressed with the both of the owners professionalism and they are really easy to work with.

When I contacted Robert he called back within a few hours of me leaving him a voicemail.  I explained what I needed done and Robert, being resourceful, used Google Maps to pull up my residence and was able to see exactly what I needed and provided me a quote on the spot.
He had the gutter repaired before I even got home from work on the same day!  The invoice that was left for me was as quoted over the phone.  I had called multiple gutter repair businesses for a couple weeks (none from Angie's List) and Michigan's Handyman was the first to reply, and even resolved my issue on the same day!  Impressive and appreciated!  Although I didn't break out a ladder to QC the gutter repair, the gutter is no longer hanging off the side of my home, so that's an improvement in itself.
