Maxwell Building Services

The absolute worst customer experience we have ever had is the nightmare of having a kitchen remodel done by Maxwell Building Services. We have never spent so much time completely frustrated and absolutely furious with a company and its owner. We have never been threatened with legal action until dealing with Maxwell and have been threatened multiple times with serious legal actions over the course of the 27-month ordeal. Maxwell threatened to sue me for defamation for filing complaints with the BBB and licensing agency, LARA. Maxwell recorded a lien on our home and threatened to foreclose on our home. The lien remained for 12 months until I could have it discharged. Maxwell never finished the project and did not schedule final inspections. We never expected to be treated the way we were treated by a BBB accredited and A+ rated business. We look forward to an investigation of our complaint against Maxwell with the Michigan Department of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs (LARA).
