i was working when job was to be done and had my daughter at the house. got a call from plumber that he did not feel comfortable doing the stub out as he would have to disturb a water heater vent that i need to replace. he ran the new line to pool heater, about 4-5 ft of pipe and charged me for 2 plumbers, $285 in labor!!!

I went well.

The first snake was not long enough, so Nathan had to go back to the shop to get the bigger one. It is now nearly 3 months later and we still have great drainage! I couldn't have been happier!

Immediate response to water on the basement floor. knew what needed to be fixed and after repairs cleaned up in allo areas not just the area that needed work.

Received a prompt phone call back by Michael Kinney. He said he was out of town but that he would send a service man out the next day. The service call was in the ballpark comparable to other plumbers I called and the service man was right on time. The total cost, I felt, was quite reasonable. The service man was very polite, professional and didn't waste any time. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend that others do the same!

I WAS CALLED THE SAME DAY ABOUT 9:30 AM, NATHAN WAS HERE BY 11:30AM, PROBLEM FIXED AND HE WS GONE BY NOON. DONE. ALMOST. HE HAD TO CUT A HOLE IN THE DRY WALL (WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN THE LEAST OF EVILS) WHICH I CAN REPAIR MYSELF. COURTEOUS, PROMPT, EFFICIENT. OVERALL EXPERIENCE GOOD.

Our commode had been leaking, but on the morning of April 24 the water was gushing out of the bottom of the toilet, leaving a big watery mess all over the floor and leaking down into our unfinished basement.
After triaging the situation, and mopping up and doing some wet/dry vacuuming, I looked on Angie's list for a nearby plumber. I wanted to use a local business. Michael Kinney came up among the list, and I called him. He was late, because of a business emergency, but he called and told me. I had no problem - I was working from home that day.
Well, he sold me on a new, insulated commode, but quite frankly we needed it. (I can do some plumbing, but this was just a huge job and I didn't want to have anything to do with it.) He also suggested a couple of guys he knew to help haul away the wet carpet and ruined things in my basement, for pretty cheap - another $60 bucks. I was happy to do that too, because it was just something heavy, time-consuming, and messy that I didn't have to do. The guys that came were the best - courteous, quick, and nice to deal with.
I'll definitely use both Michael Kinney's plumbing services, and the junk haulers again.

Showed up promptly, had most of necessary parts, tools, etc... Worked efficiently and ensured that work area was cleaned prior to departure. Followed up the next day without being asked re: any difficulties, and wrapped new piping to reduce/eliminate condensation drip in closed space.
Quality workmanship, timely arrival, extra effort to acquire necessary parts and followup. Once cannot ask for more from any contractor or business professional.

HE DID LOVELY WORK FOR ME. I HAVE BEEN USING HIS SERVICES FOR A FEW YEARS NOW. HE DOES EXCELLENT WORK IN A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME, AND ALL FOR A REASONABLE PRICE.
