He did a fabulous job creating a one of a kind ceiling in the living room that fits perfectly with our 1950s architecture. He repaired the wall that had been previously patched where a doorway had once been. The kitchen ceiling looks brand new. He covered several cracks and holes that were previously not well patched. We will definitely use him again. I already have the next project picked out.

better then I could have imagined. I will definitely keep Jim in mind if I need plaster repaired in the future. Jim did a very very good job. Jim had a few personal issues that came up during the job which caused the job to get done 1-2 weeks later then the initial estimated completion date. He did work late into the night to get the job done in then end. In the end Jim did a great job and I look forward to working with him If I have future plaster work that I need done. Overall Jim had great customer service and was able to beat the price of the competition by $1,000 dollars.

My 1928 house had a noticeable crack in the ceiling (3-4 feet long) which was getting worse, and some cracks in in the dining room and entry way/landing. Artistic came all the way from Hastings to East Lansing, gave me a quote, then came out & patched everything up. Plaster walls/ceilings are becoming increasingly rare & so it was nice to have a contractor who used the real thing & knew what to do. $1000 & change is a little on the pricey side, but given quality of work & materials still well worth it. A nice resource to have, I will use them again to handle inevitable repairs which come with an aging house.

Jim did an excellent job. He was extremely tidy. The final product was perfectly smooth plaster, which was perfectly integrated into our historic home. Jim was punctual, a great communicator, and easy to work with. We would hire him again in a second.

He took down the plaster ceiling and the cement board underneath it ,which was making the ceiling sag and crack.. He put up a plasterboard ceiling and plastered over it. He not only painted the ceiling but the entire room as well. He did an excellent job, only took two days. He helped us move our furniture out and back in. His price was very reasonable compared to other estimates. He even hung a wooden plaque on our cement wall for us and brought us some cherry tomatoes from his garden. We were very pleased with his work.

Jim called time arranged and updated and he came today. I have a plaster living room ceiling that cracked when the roof was replaced a few years ago. He repaired the cracks around the ceiling/wall area and re did the ceiling and made it look much better and it will enhance the ceiling fan when it is put in. He is a true artist. He drove over from Hastings and was here all day and I felt his fee was not enough for the work done so I increased it to a more fair fee for the services provided. Not only did he cover the walls and carpet but vacuumed when done. Said he would be at my house by 10 but did not arrive until 10:20 and helped move the last of the furniture from the living room
