Interior Design and Decorating
I thought that having a decorator could help me incorporate my existing furnishings into my new house and provide great suggestions for colors and themes that my wife would appreciate. Boy, was I wrong. When I showed her pictures of my existing furniture, she suggested I sell it. If my wife wanted something in a blue shade for a room, she decided it should be green. If my wife requested a certain wallpaper, she made fun of it. No only that, but the decorator made changes to the house desigh without my knowledge. To this day I cannot fully open my freezer door because she changed dimensions on the adjacent wall. We began to think of her as "the decorator from h***." Fortunately, she fired me when I asked her to explain her pricing formulas. I would not recommend this decorator.
