I loved everything about them - such a nice front office - so empathetic and understanding - this was a big, expensive job, and I felt like even they felt bad to tell me the transmission had to go. The only reason I gave them a "B" in punctuality is because when we called on the original day they said it would be ready, they added another week. However, when my husband called and said not having the car was quite a hardship for us, they actually turned it around in just 2 days. They gave us a 90 day warranty, and a generous discount on labor for being local hospital employees. They also shopped around for a decent reconditioned transmission, which saved us signifigantly. I will always use Brakes By The Bay - I trust them, I think they are honest and fair.
