"Honestly, I NEVER write reviews!! Chuck, the owner, is honest, hard working and knowledgeable. Him and his son went ABOVE AND BEYOND to get every single grout line looking AMAZING! (And it wasn't an easy job, all 600 square foot!) He really took his time during the free in home estimate, testing the toughest areas to guarantee it would be up to our standards before even starting the job! I'd give 100 STARS if I could 𠤩 I would absolutely recommend him to any and everyone I know!!! Thanks again Chuck!!! AWESOME JOBð"

"Great customer service from the first contact to finishing the job. Very quick and easy process with great work as the result. Several tiles were loose and the grout was gone. The technician repaired the tiles and re-grouted the area. It looks like a new floor!"

"Extremely knowledgeable, experienced professional. Did a wonderful job cleaning our carpet (even got out the cat urine stains!), as well as polished our hard woods and cleaned the grout in our shower stall, all for a very reasonable price. We will definitely be using them in the future."

"The tile work was done very well. We are pleased with the quality of the work. There were a few things that led to the "4" rating: 1. The work hours were odd; typically from 11 AM to 6 PM. This was not always convenient for us but we were never asked about that. 2. The crew often used our broom and vac to clean up. We would expect that these basic tools would be part of the crew's. 3. A pipe that led to our Jacuzzi tub was disconnected leading to a big puddle in our basement. 4. Our shower control came apart after we used it two times; the crew had re-installed it and we had to repair it. Perhaps the crew should have called in a plumber."

"Great experience. I do not like companies to work in my home. Mark Rose and Ashley were very accommodating to all my details. A couple of wall areas were missed, but the quality of thie work they did over shadowed the couple oops.. I WILL BE THE FIRST TO ADMIT, I AM A PERFECTIONIST SO WHEN I SAY CALL ME IN THE SPING MARK...I mean it!!"

Grout Tile Cleaners FAQs, answered by experts

When cleaning porcelain tiles, avoid products that contain ammonia, bleach, and other harsh chemicals. Acid-based cleansers can damage the tile, though you can clean them with a diluted mixture of one-quarter cup white vinegar mixed with one gallon of hot water. It is important always to use a soft-bristled brush or sponge, since hard bristles and steel wool can scratch the tile.

For grout on your floors, you can keep it clean by mopping and sweeping regularly, placing floor mats or rugs in high-traffic areas (or areas more prone to spills, like the kitchen), and removing your shoes before coming into the house. For grout on wall tile, make sure you’re cleaning regularly with baking soda, vinegar, lemon juice, or a store-bought cleaner. Consider sealing your grout, too.

Yes, you can use household cleaners on silicone caulk, but opt for mild, non-abrasive cleaners. Solutions like vinegar and water are effective for tackling mold and dirt. Avoid cleaners containing ammonia or harsh chemicals because they can damage the caulk. Always test a small area first to ensure the cleaner doesn’t cause any adverse effects.

To maintain your tiled shower, clean it regularly with a non-abrasive cleaner. This will also prevent mold and mildew buildup. Use a squeegee after each shower to reduce water spots and soap scum. Reapply grout sealer annually to protect against moisture and stains. Finally, address any cracks or damage promptly to prevent water from seeping behind the tiles and causing further issues.

You should not use caulk as a direct substitute for grout, but it can be used as a temporary solution or supplement for repairing minor cracks. Caulk is more flexible and does not dry as hard as grout. To perform the repair, first use a grout or rotary saw to remove the old, cracked grout. Then, apply a matching caulk into the cracks, smooth it over, and allow it to cure. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for drying time, which can be up to 48 hours.
