The work was done in a timely manner and we were very pleased. since the waterproofing, there was a heavy rain, and no water entered the basement.

I only have one negative.  The company needs to increase communications with customers.   Once i was put on the schedule, there was little communication with them.  I understand that rain delayed their work, but they need to keep customers in the loop regarding delays in schedules.

However, I am very glad that I waited for them.  The work performed exceeded my expectations.  Mark has a great team who are all very hardworking and conscientious.   They hand dug everything and took great care to replace my landscaping exactly as it was before they came.  The owner was present the entire time and spent a lot of time educating me and working "down in the trenches" making sure problem was addressed, as opposed to just "doing the job".

They also did some patched a small hole in my basement floor and sealed around a basement window well.   These were not in the contract, yet he did not charge me anything for the extra work.

From start to finish, the work and the team were just outstanding.  We could tell we were being well taken care of immediately.  One extra point is that they cleaned up and left the place in great order.  The guys were really nice and respectful as well. 

Mark Rhodes, the owner of Clark Basement Waterproofing, is the exception to the rule when it comes to contractors/folks working on your house.  Mark does an excellent job managing the project as well as his staff.  He is a clear communicator, setting real expectations and delivering excellent quality work.  In addition, Mark's staff, which includes his son, couldn't be more hard working, professional, and personable.   After interviewing several companies, ultimately selecting Clark, I couldn't have made a better choice.  Of course, Murphy's Law hit and we experienced cold, very, very rainy weather all week.  Although this clearly set the project back a couple of days, there was no one to blame but Mother Nature.  Mark did a great job managing though some nasty conditions, keeping his staff safe and my house protected.

The project took one week to complete which was the projection when the project began.   The company stayed on schedule even with losing 1 & 1/2 days of work due to heavy rain.   They brought in a dumpster to remove the fill and old drain tile that was dug out.  All of the workers (4 of them, including the owner, Mr. Mark Rhoades) were very respectful of my property as well as that of my neighbor.   They cleaned up at the end of each day and at the end of the job.  Obviously the proof will be what happens over the next several years but I was able to observe the work for portions of each day and I am not anticipating anything but great results and a dry basement for years to come.   At this point I truly could not be more happy with Mr. Rhoades and Clark Basement Waterproofing. 

They worked quickly and efficiently. The crews were prompt, courteous and experienced. The entire experience was positive.

The crew showed up right on time on the scheduled date and worked hard all day long, every day. They were always respectful and neat. They took care to protect my lawn and the neighbor's driveway. They had to move fencing and replace it. They worked quickly and efficiently. They exhibited a thorough knowledge of the service. They made sure the permits were in place before beginning and they kept the process running smoothly by scheduling inspections and deliveries well. They finished the work two days ahead of schedule. I am very happy with their work and the results. I would not hesitate to recommend them or to hire them again. When the work was done, they cleaned up the yard and driveway with a broom and water hose. They left everything as good or better than they found it.

They did an excellent job and completed it within two days, even though it was January and quite snowy. They left a clean site, and the basement has not leaked since the repair. The estimate was completed in mid-December. They were willing to do the job immediately, but we postponed it until after the holidays.

Everything went very well. The guys were nice and worked hard. They showed us the clogged drain tiles. The concrete that they replaced looked very professional. We have not had a water problem since the work was completed.

Fabulous experience. Inspired confidence. Job was completed quickly and they were very professional. After getting several other quotes, we felt that this was the best we could have done for the money. The problem is solved at a very reasonable price.

They did a super job from start to finish. The owner, Mark Rhoade, was prompt and professional on all phone calls and appointments, and he inspired confidence in his ability to take care of this chronic problem once and for all. He showed up on time with a very pleasant, efficient crew, and they finished the job in the snow in 2 1/2 days. They were neat, avoided harming plants, and cleaned up the area very well. We have since experienced a melting thaw that would normally have sent us to the basement with mops, and there was no leaking at all. The work is guaranteed for 15 years, and we have confidence that they would return to fix it if problems should develop in the future.

I called Clark after finding them on Angie's List. Mark came out when he said he would and looked things over. He described what the work would involve and how it would correct the problem, so I gave them the go ahead. His crew showed up on time and did a great job. They had to dig around two sides of the porch foundation, install drain pipe and gravel, and put the yard back together again. When they needed to come inside they all took their shoes off. They put down paper in the basement where we had new carpet installed, and made sure not to leave a mess. The job spread over three days (one day it rained late). My wife liked that they played "Oldies" while they worked. I thought I was going to have a disater on my hands that would be expensive and take forever to fix. Mark got it done fast and at a fair price.

I can not speak highly enough of Mark and his crew. After receiving several estimates for basement waterproofing done in various ways, we were most impressed with his explanation and integrity. He clearly is an expert in this area and takes the time to make you understand. He only did what was necessary and did not lead us to believe that our house was falling apart like others did. He was timely and courteous. They worked very fast and only took 3 1/2 days to do the entire job! When we returned after they completed it, we could not tell that they had ever been there--everything was placed back as they had found it. If you need your home waterproofed and want to avoid the run-around, give Clark Basement a call. Many of our neighbors came by to see what they were doing and were impressed, asking for their contact info.

This was the best work I've had done on my house yet. They did a very good job and cleaned up every last bit of the mess the repair required them to make.

With all the heavy rain in November, I had water leaking down the side walls and near the bottom of the cinder blocks. I called Clark's and Mark the owner came out the same day and provided a quote and completed the work for the price quoted. I requested the work be completed the week I would be on vacation (I had some available to check on the work). Mark accommodated the week I requested and started the work on Monday and finished by Thursday. They ensured the surrounding area was returned as they found it and pictures were provided for each phase of the work. I highly recommend this company - Mark was very professional and friendly to work with. I am very pleased with the work and the outside looks great! And no more leaks!

Contractor prepared a clear, comprehensive cost and time estimate along with task list, plan and sketch of work to be done. Contractor kept customer well informed of daily progress. Company owner and crew were very courteous, prompt, extremely capable and highly efficient. Result was a top-quality job performed within cost estimate and ahead of anticipated schedule.

Price was right. Very prompt and professional - they seemed to be just like family!

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. MY BASEMENT DOES NOT LEAK AT ALL. ABOUT TWO MONTHS AGO, A WATER LINE BURST AND MY BASEMENT WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT DID NOT FLOOD.
