Very professional and friendly. They also did an excellent job of handling mail-in rebates for me. My main concerns and goals, however, were not met. They did an awesome job at showing me how I was spending (losing) money on energy in the home, but could not lower my heating/cooling bills too much or make my home much more comfortable.

They explained that one reason for the poor climate in my dormer was because they could not reach areas to insulate as they had first intended. They did grant me a bit lower of a price after realizing that they could not do the job right. Still, I paid them quite a bit of money for what now seem to be minor improvements.

The last I heard from them was about a year ago. They were to stop by and replace the skirting on my porch door, but never did.

My experience with them went very poorly. I had a real problem with them. They wanted to charge me $2100 for a power vented hot water heater. The other guy that I had come in from another company found that my fresh air vent to my utility room was blocked and he fixed it for $50. So, I am not as impressed by the WellHome people as I should be. In their energy audit they told me that I needed a $2100 power vented hot water heater. I wanted a second opinion, so then I hooked up with this other company, who was also doing a home energy audit and they found that I did not need a $2100 power vented hot water heater, I just needed my vent that was on the outside of the house fixed and they did that for $50. The WellHome guy was a very nice guy. He was very calm. He seemed very competent, but I do not think that may be he knows his stuff as well as he thinks he does.

We called WellHome for an energy audit. After performing the audit, later that day Michael sat down with us and explained their findings and recommendations. We were suprised at the number of things that they could fix and how much of a difference it could make in our home's energy efficiency. Our home was built in 1922, so we have a lot of issues with losing energy. We decided to go with them for most of their recommendations. We thought their pricing on windows was high, so we will probably go with another company when we decide to replace windows. The estimates for the other work seemed fair. They re-did the insulation in our attic, our screened-in porch, basement, and a number of other projects on the exterior of the home. In the end, we thought it was well worth it. We notice a difference throughout the house.
From start to finish we found the workers to be friendly and professional. They arrived on time and even called with an earlier slot when they had a cancellation. I would recommend their services to others.

The testing explained many things about our house and things we need to fix. Well worth having it done, would recommend. He was very friendly and helpful.

Greg used state of the art technology, and a wealth of experience to analyze my old home's energy efficiency, and find any dangerous pitfalls (carbon monoxide, etc). He combed through the home from top to bottom, literary crawling, stooping, and climbing to get the job done.
