This was one of the worst experiences we have had. We contracted (verbally) with him in May after we received a quote for our projects of $650. He /his assistant did a few projects. He suggested that they come and complete other projects as they had time. We requested they wait until a later date, which was agreeable to them. Once we contacted them again, there was a complete lack of communication and focus on our project. I have text messages that show that he was unresponsive to our communications time and time again. Once he did contact us, he had a huge list of life issues, which were not acceptable as they were his problem not ours (as he agreed). He then set up a final time which he guaranteed but then consequently canceled due to another personal need. I asked for a final itemized bill. When I received it, it was almost the amount he initially quoted. However, the major projects that were quoted were never done. He refused to accommodate this in our bill.

"Our team has approached this customer, as with all others, with respect and kindness despite multiple inappropriate messages to the owner and the young technicians. This project included multiple issues, to include five add-on projects for which they were not charged. The initial quote was $650, sans add ons, and the final bill was $500 as we could not work with them. For the timeline, we started and then paused due to the customer waiting for a dumpster that would enable the project completion. They did not reply for months, after which we followed up and they assured us that it would be there in the coming weeks. We completed a majority of the work, with the exception of two items; for which they insisted that the owner show up for no reason. This occurred when I did have an accident that claimed the lives of my aunt and grandmother and a week later a fellow veteran I served with took his life. Obviously a strain, but as they mentioned, not the customers problem. We are humans, that operate on respect and kindness as I hope you are. Take stock in this review if you want, but there are always two sides to the coin. You cannot please everyone, but I assure you this is an inaccurate depiction."

It went great! This place did several home projects for me. They did a great job on all of them and there prices were good. Most of my communication was with Dakota who is extremely easy to work with. He genuinely wants to do a good job (he takes pride in his work) and even went the extra mile by doing things I didn't expect him to do - e.g., disposed of things in the yard we didn't want free of charge. It took me three years of looking to find MKP because no one else was willing to take on a To-Do list of home projects. MKP installed a gutter, replaced a large section of our backyard fence, fixed our flower boxes, prepared/painted the back porch (and replaced some deck boards), and installed boardwalk underneath our backyard porch. I highly recommend this place. I will be asking them to do more home projects for me in the future :-)

MKP maintenance and repairs was definitely very knowledgeable, friendly, personable, and helpful. They explained the process and discussed decisions with me to ensure I understood. They responded quickly when I had questions and followed up to ensure the final product as expected. Amazing! MKP did phenomenal work on our cabinets that were worn from exposure to moisture. After the repair they look as good as new. Can’t recommend enough. In so thankful they helped us!
