FLOORING BY DESIGN

We went into this store on a recommendation at the end of December 2014. The owner was helpful in picking out samples, gave us some pricing (verbally), and let us take home some samples. She stated that she would call the following week to schedule an in-home appointment. Weeks went by. We called and were told she would call back. We went in to the store 2 more times for samples and each time were told she would contact us. When she did eventually make it out to our home (6 weeks later), the pricing and other information that she gave us at that time was completely different than when we originally spoke to her. The material and installation numbers she gave us at our home were much higher than 2 months previous (the scope of work did not change during that time). She said she would email a quote. We called and emailed several times the following week and never received an actual quote (or any response at all). We found someone else who was responsive and professional. The other staff in the store was helpful, but the owner just sort of flaked out on us.

We have postponed our purchase pending some changes that need to be made to the sub floor, but are grateful that we didn't waste the money on our flawed plan.
