We contacted Weatherhead and Son's to get some window's replaced. They told us up front that it would be about 3 months due to all the work they had. This would have put the time frame around late September. In the meantime they demanded the down payment right away and it was paid to them. September came and went and they had not contacted me. I placed several calls and they told me I would have to talk to Jake. After several calls Jake never called. October came and went as I tried contacting them again. It was the same story with the same result. Only when I demanded my down payment back that I got a call. He told me that the new time frame would be within the first two weeks of November. Well...Same story, same results. They are not calling me back and I fear that we are going into winter where the job cannot be done. I am to the point of calling the BBB as well as Kent County if I cannot get my down payment back. This is fraud if they insist on keeping my money for services never rendered. I am so through with them.

The initial work went well but we have had several issues since then and he doesn't follow through or be responsive.  We have had to contact others regarding the repairs/issues that were seemingly the result of the new roof and skylight.  We have asked him to come out three times but he has only shown up once.  We paid the big bucks thinking we would get great service but have been more than disappointed with Weatherhead's accountability.

Dan came to my house unannounced and good thing I was home to explain what the problem was. He caulked around my dormers on the front of my house. He explained more work should be done because of the crappy roof job that was done in the first place. I know the original roof was a very shabby job. That contractor is in jail. Weatherhead company charged me $150.00 service charge and another $100.00 for the 15 minutes of work that he did. I think the price was very high for the small amount of work that was done. They explained that they were very busy and it toke them almost 4 weeks to get here to so the job.

My parents hired them for a new roof. My father stated it took a considerable amount of time and had a $10,000 over-run because the roof was more difficult than they anticipated. They put up heating coils in a problem spot in the roof that did not work and were not installed to manufacturer instructions. I paid someone to reinstall the coils. The roof has been leaking since the new roof but is better after the new coil installation. Of course, the coils were just part of the problem. It is obvious that the under-layment in the problem area was not properly installed either, or it would not be leaking. I went back to the company for an adjustment and help and they refused. I called the Better Business Bureau (waste of time). Angie's List is what the Better Business Bureau should be.

Great.  Great attention to detail, craftsmanship, quality.  We are really happy.  This is the 2nd house we have had them do.  Both were our primary residences. Would definitely use them again.

The guy who gave me the quote was knowledgeable and on the ball. I wasn't really impressed with the workers. It took them multiple days to do a project that they said would take one day. It didn't turn out the way that they said it would. The owner came back after the work was done. He had them come back and fix some things and clean up. When all was done and said it turned out the way it was supposed to.

They corrected all the problems. They had asked if I had a lot of water damage and I hadn't fortunately which they were surprised by. They were professional and good priced.

They were fast and for most part did a good job.  They show up early which some people might not like, they were here at 7.30 in the morning but I was happy to see them getting started up that early and worked till the sun was down.  They were not very pushy on products.  Again they got things done quickly.  As far as reattaching my gutters and things they were not as careful.  So we had to have them come back and adjust a few things.  But overall it was good to work with a local company versus some of the other giant companies.  I recommend them and hopefully I will not have to use them again.

Weatherhead did a highly professional job. The quotation was prepared per my specific instructions, the price was competitive. The workers were polite, efficient, and highly competent. An excellent experience, and a quality job!

When we purchased our house 3 years ago, the sunporch had a new roof with 10-year warranty, done by Weatherhead. Not long after we moved in, we noticed a leak in the roof after a storm. We have had them come out three times now to repair it, but we still have a leak in the same place--and unsightly screws sticking out of the ceiling. They don't seem to care about it, or the fact that we refuse to call them for future needs (we're getting windows/siding/roof soon) because of the poor service.

My experience with the whole job was average to poor. They were not punctual and destroyed all of my gutters and downspouts. I asked them to throw their cigarette butts in the fire pit and not in the gutters. When I went to clean the gutters out there were tons of butts in there. They did not address my concerns and were messy as well. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I THINK THEY DID VERY GOOD WORK. IT TAKE THEM LONG TO FINISH. THEY CLEANED UP ALL THE MESSES THEY MADE AND DIDN'T LEAVE ANYTHING BEHIND ONCE THEY HAD FINISHED.

THE OWNER HAS A GOOD REPUTATION AND IS VERY KIND. THEY DO QUALITY WORK BECAUSE THE OWNER CHECKS ON THE WORK HIS SERVICEMEN DO ON A DAILY BASIS. THEY FINISHED THE WORK RIGHT ON TIME AND DID A TERRIFIC JOB.

THEY WORKED VERY HARD LONG DAYS, TO GET THE JOB DONE AHEAD OF SCHEDULE. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE FINISHED PRODUCT. I THINK MY NEW ROOF LOOKS GREAT. IT ALSO MAKES ME FEEL GOOD TO KNOW THAT MY ROOF DOES NOT LEAK.

I LIKED HOW THEY STARTED AS SOON AS THEY ARRIVED. THEY BROUGHT EVERYTHING WITH THEM AND DID QUALITY WORK AS WELL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS AS WELL BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY AFFORDABLE.

THEY HAD THE LOWEST PRICE OUT OF ANY OF THE COMPANIES THAT WE HAD CALLED. THEY MEASURED EVERYTHING CORRECTLY THE FIRST TIME. THEY GOT THE JOB DONE WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS.

IF WE HAD A REQUEST THEY ATTEMPTED TO MEET IT EVERY TIME. THEY WERE VERY HARD WORKERS AND EXTREMELY VERSATILE. THEY CONDUCTED THEMSELVES IN A VERY PROFESSIONAL MANNER. THEY WERE SURE TO DO A FOLLOW UP A FEW WEEKS LATER.
