Quick, detailed results, and made room for one of the two appointments on a last-minute call, for which we were very grateful!

Verburgs disclaimed all responsibility to the damage to our vehicle while in their possession. We tried to work out a resolution, but Verburgs expected us to pay for the damage they caused. We requested they contact their liability insurance carrier, and as expected without examining the vehicle or asking us any questions they denied the claim with no explanation.

We brought our car in to get a complete check up. I did not deal with the staff directly but my husband did. They were informative and preformed on our car well. They are easy to talk to and, to schedule appointments with. They have good costumer service.

The repairs we wanted were all completed quickly. It took one extra day for the mechanic to get the parts, and the shop kept me informed about the reason for the delay.
One thing I really like about Verburg's is that they take a good look at the overall condition of our older cars, and they let us know where we stand if the cost of the repairs are likely to take us close to not being worth the value of the car. I wouldn't say they charge less than most other places, but the charges are always reasonable and the estimates are accurate. The quality of work they do is very good.

My car had just started to become loud while driving. I could tell it was coming from the front of the car (and wasn't a muffler issue) but it seemed like the faster I went, the louder the car would be. So, I dropped my car off on a Thursday night and already around 9am on Friday I had gotten a call from Verberg's saying that I had a wheel bearing that needed to be replaced. They also mentioned that I was over on my oil change, so they replaced the wheel bearing and gave it an oil change. They conveniently let me pay over the phone so that my husband didn't have to leave work early to take me to pick up the car. Then they locked the keys and receipt in the car, and I picked up later that night. It's been driving great ever since!

Had been seeing moderate oil drips from 1996 Volvo. Could not determine source myself as there was lots of oil all over the bottom of the engine. Verburgs determined the oil filler gasket was not sealing due to age and hardness. Replaced the gasket, not the entire cap. Simple low cost fix. Verburgs has a lot of experience and are very professional and honest. Always provide options for repairs and don't try to up-sell. Use them every year to perform a safety check and they note everything but only highlight safety related issues. Communications and explanations are good. Probably the best testament is my wife has no concerns working with Verburg's, something we both really appreciate as many auto service providers don't give women fair treatment (sell extra unnecessary services, intimidating, etc)

Some years ago my Toyota was running roughly. I took it to the local Toyota dealer who said it needed a new engine at a cost of $2000. I took it to Verburg's for a second opinion. They said it had a clogged fuel filter and needed a tuneup; after they corrected these, the car ran fine. I've had all my auto service done by them since then and have been very satisfied. They do good work and go out of their way to keep the price down.

I had my A/C compressor replaced by another shop in the fall of 2010. Since it was cold, I didn't realize my A/C was not working properly until this spring when I noticed it was cutting out after 4-5 seconds. If I shut it off and turned it back on, it worked great for 4-5 seconds then cut out again. Driving along with my finger on the on/off switch every 5 seconds was not going to make it for the summer, so I took it back to the shop which installed the new compressor. They had the car two days and never figured out what was wrong with it. [The other shop says they didn't charge me for the diagnostics, but fixing a bad brake light (not just a bad bulb; corroded contacts) and replacing a shield on the catalytic converter set me back $125 so I question whether they didn't put a little of their diagnostics on my bill.]
Verburg's had fixed a nearly identical problem the last time I replaced the compressor by a local radiator shop and finally discovered a wire was misplaced causing the same problem so I took it back to them. They found a problem with the installation which bent some pins on the revolution sensor, straightened them with a pair of pliers, put it back together and it works great now. They only charged me $50 for that, but they also found a leak in the compressor itself (which they fixed and was not diagnosed by the other shop) and recharged the system. Now, I have to keep turning the temp up in the car to avoid being frozen out! I am ready for some sizzling hot weather and have decided Verburg's is my new and quot;go toand quot; shop for all of our car repairs.
