Roger responded to my call promptly and came over within 45 minutes the first time. I had him back twice more before we decided that excavation was necessary. He provided a name of a reputable excavator when I asked for a recommendation. His prices were reasonable, he came at the time he said he would, and was knowledgable. I would definitely call him again if I needed to.

Roger called me back very promptly. After explaining my problem, he offered some suggestions to see if they would resolve it.His suggestions worked perfectly!, and he saved me a service call. Roger is very knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to communicate with. I am so glad I called him!

I actually have contracted with this company before, and once again, Roger did an excellent job. We discovered at 9:45pm on a Sunday night that our basement floor drain had backed up and flooded our finished basement. I called a plumber's emergency service, and they also recommended Vander Laan Sewer Service. Roger took my call (at 11pm on a Sunday night!), put us right on his schedule for Monday morning, and suggested some cleanup we could do in the meantime.
On Monday morning, he showed up right on time and was able to quickly clear the drain. He snaked a cable through and ground up the tree root that had blocked the drain. He also gave me maintenance tips to make sure the pipe stayed open.
I appreciate the professional job that Roger does, and I also appreciate how courteous and friendly he is--even after getting a late-night emergency call. His prices are reasonable and his work is top notch. I will certainly be working with him in the future (ideally just for maintenance, not another emergency!).

Successfully cleared it. For the first time in 12 years the sink drains like it should.
