About us
Stob Construction is a small construction firm specializing in interior remodeling. We keep a small crew of honest, hardworking individuals. When possible we buy from local woodworkers, lumber dealers, and suppliers. We emphasize supporting our local economy and promoting sustainable resources. We focus on listening to our clients needs and expectations. Building relationships with our clients is important the the growth of Stob Construction. We spend most of our time in East Grand Rapids, Easttown and the historical districts in Grand Rapids. We are always looking for unique projects. We have a lot more fun when we are challenged. We strive to keep a realistic view of our projects. So, being reasonable with our costs is emphasized. We do not have trip charges, initial service fees etc. Depending on the situation we can offer a bid, time and materials contract, or cost plus contract. We use subcontractors when needed. We don't staff licensed plumbers and electricians. We have very good relationships with several qualified, licensed plumbers, electricians and HVAC people. Honestly, we want it done right.
