The job was to replace the glass in 8 windows.
He and his partner came out to our house to simply replace glass that had broken seals. In 6 windows they did replace glass...
What happened was that they broke one window in transit, and broke another while installing. Due to weather getting too cold to do the install, he told us he can't fix the errors until spring when the weather breaks. I was unhappy, but understood that accidents happen and that wasn't planned. This was told to me over the phone.
When I saw the finished work, I was even more unhappy... Turned out that they broke all of the vinyl trim around the corners of the glass and where the window meets. He said that he couldn't help that and tried to "band aid" that with some silicone noting to me that it'll be fine. When I continued to question him on it and requesting him to replace those corner trim pieces when he came back in the spring to fix the two windows he hadn't been able to finish yet, he went dark... I havent heard from them since. I would expect that if you are a window company who does glass replacement, you would plan to have the window look as it did before you did the work. Why would I want to replace the glass only to have every thing else look bad?
Some of the "fun" things we've discovered since his service was that one of the casement windows wont even open now (it won't unlock), another 2 windows leak incredibly bad with water pooling on the window sill and dripping on the wood floor below every time it rains, and 2 others leak air constantly.
It's April 23 and he won't even respond to text or phone calls. From what I see, I now have to replace every window in my kitchen due to the bad install. A small $1,300 job is now a HUGE expense. This guy apparently doesn't stand behind his work either. Just hope if you hire him, the job goes perfect.

Tony came out and provided an estimate . We purchased the door and lock set from Home Depot. He delivered the door on the day of installation. His son is his helper and does a good job, but Tony is the master craftsman. His son installed the lock set and missed installing the inserts for the dead bolt and lock handle. It was an extremely cold day and they worked quickly to minimize the amount of time that the opening was exposed to the elements. All in all, it was a positive experience.
