I was a bit hesitant to contact Sage Upholstery, because previous reviews stated that he was not taking on new work. This is NOT the case--I was able to get my couch fixed within a few weeks of my initial inquiry, and the repair took less than a week to complete. Charlie was extremely good at apprising me of the progress, and also suggested ways to save money. As a result, the final cost was under the initial estimate of $480.  I am happy to say that our couch is actually better than new! I would not hesitant to use Sage Upholstery in the future, and to give my highest recommendation.

Both the window cushion and the pillow were beautifully done.  The welt was squared at the corners of both pieces.  The design was centered and matched.  I thought I would have to wait for many weeks for my cushion and pillow but I got a phone call in less than two weeks.  I would choose Sage Upholstery again in a heart beat.  Great work and I feel the pricing was very fair.  Friends and family have given the window seat remodel rave reviews and that makes me happy!

Charlie came over to the house to give me an estimate. Had the job completed before expected. He also sent me pictures of the progress which was great to see. Charlie was professional and really knows his profession. If you need something done right, he's your guy. You get what you pay for!

Charlie Sage has done several upholstery jobs for us over the last 20 years. So when we needed to reupholster an antique platform rocker, we called him again. We picked out the material from one of the fabric places he suggested. Charlie picked up our chair, bought the material, did the upholstery work, and even refinished the worn wooden arms of the chair. We also had him re-stuff two loveseat cushions with new foam and custom make a small pillow from leftover chair fabric. He delivered everything promptly and all the work was superb. I can't imagine using anyone else for upholstery work.
