We signed a 12 month lease with them beginning in May. 5 months later we bought a house and let them know we would be breaking the lease two months later. They told us we would be liable for break lease fee ( .85% of the monthly rent ), and the monthly rent until they could re-lease the house. Both seemed reasonable to us. The house was re-rented within two days, and everything seemed fine. We met for a final walk through and their agent said he couldn't see anything we would be charged for. Then came all the hidden charges, including $30 for the final walk through report, which ended up totaling approx. $500. When we said we would go to small claims court, they threatened a number of additional fees they would tack on if we decided to pursue it. So we gave up, just want to warn others before they fall into the same trap we did. If you do business with this company, read every word on the lease not as a reasonable person but as one who may need to defend themselves against a company with poor or no ethics.
Note: Their response just demonstrates the lack of ethics we tried to deal with. We never filed a complaint with the BBB so the BBB never investigated and/or determined a claim was invalid. Check the BBB website and it shows no complaints for this business. Why? Since they are not BBB accredited, filing a complaint won't have an impact.

"This client also posted a negative review with the Better Business Bureau. After examining their complaint and reviewing our response, the Better Business Bureau determined that it was not a valid claim and dismissed their compaint. Rental Property Consultants bent over backwards to try to make these people happy, it just wasn't possible."
