Dropped van off the night before. Got a call that work was complete by 10:30 AM.  Front brake pads had lifetime warranty which was honored.

He returned my car back to me with a check engine light on. This eventually turned off but the ABS light is on. He wants me to pay $80 for him to put it on diagnostic to find out what the problem is. He told me he didn’t think this had to do with any of the repairs he did previously. Dave told me I needed a part and said it would be $50, I called around to other places and they said it only cost between $15-$20.

I take my car there for regular oil changes. Since it is an older model car (2006) they always give me a list of things that may need attention and itemize them in an order of importance.  Most of the things are not emergency items and they tell me so. Since I have some experience with high mileage cars (I drive a lot for work) I kind of know how to maintain a car.  They don't pressure me to make repairs that I don't need.They recently told me of the importance of changing out the original GM coolant since my car reached 100,000 miles and this coolant has the tendency to be corrosive.  They reminded me of a coupon that I could apply saving me 10%.

We made an appointment and had the van in at 9AM in the morning. They said it would be a couple of hours for them to diagnose the problem. I waited until 1:30PM and called them to see what was happening. They said they were very backed up and will be getting to it soon. Got a call at 4:00PM with the diagnosis and estimate for repair. I agreed to have them fix it. It was done at 5:45PM. Once they got to the repair, they did it quickly and accurately. Have not had any problem with the idle speed since. But, they need to do a better job of communicating what is going on and not wait until their customer has to call them to get the whole story. Nice guys to work with though and they seemed to be fair and honest.

They are an honest shop that quickly informed me of the problem and took the blame for there mistake. I've been to new car dealers service departments that were not as forthcoming or lacked the integrity these guys do. They offered to pick my car up when it needs service, or if I drop it off they give me a ride home. When the service or repairs are complete, they return the car to me. All at no extra charge. In the past they have given me a list of needed repairs and then even prioritized the repairs, letting me know exactly which needed to be done immediately and which were not as pressing.
