They were the sub-contractors. They measured the space for the door before the door was ordered. When they came out for the installation, they measured the space at least four times before they took down the old door and started installing the new one. They wanted to be very sure that the door would fit into that space before they started taking it apart. It was kind of funny because they even sent one of the helpers out to measure it again to double check the figures but they were definitely a measure four times and cut it once kind of people. They were also very clean when they took the old door off that involved taking the trimmer on the door off post installation and dusting. They brought a vacuum cleaner with them and cleaned it off as they worked so that there was never debris in the house or on the carpet. When they came inside the house after working on the outside of the house, they took their boots off and worked in their socks so that they were not tracking anything into the house. This was very conscientious because it was fall, it was raining and there were leaves. When they finished the installation, they took the time with me to go over on all the features of the door. The door had built-in blinds. So, they showed me on how to take them off to clean them or replace them. They also showed me all the locking mechanisms. They also made sure that I was comfortable with how the door operated, how it looked and they wanted me to be completely satisfied with the door before the signing off. They were very conscientious. They were excellent. I would absolutely use them again in the future. I have even asked them to give me a quote to convert the porch into a three seasons room and hopefully I would be able to use them this spring to get the work done.
