Mr. Roof

I have a huge issue with the aftermath of the construction. Immediately following the work done, the ceiling in one of my rooms developed a very large crack that sagged down. It is very obvious that someone had stepped where they weren’t supposed to or dropped something heavy. The area is now sagging more and opening up to my attic. The company told me that in the contract it states that they are not responsible for any damage to the inside of the home what so ever. READ THE CONTRACT BEFORE YOU SIGN. I was told that no one will be calling me back regarding the matter. Management has refused to speak to me even once. The only communication I’ve had is with their call center and one conversation with a sales person. I’m just seeking assistance in paying for the damage they caused as it is an expensive extra cost that I cannot really afford. I now have to emergently get my entire ceiling replaced because it’s falling down. I deeply deeply regret going with this company.

I was at the Allegan County fair when I walked by your booth and got signed up for the free estimate to re-do my siding. Today was the appointment, and the estimator was a small man by the name of Nick G. He shows up and starts asking questioning immediately about the timeframe of when we wanted the work done. He then proceeds to inform me that since BOTH homeowners were not home he could NOT give me an estimate. He said 2x during his speech that he was not trying to sound like an arrogant *****. He did, however, still end up sounding exactly like an arrogant *****. I'm actually really glad he wasted his time to drive all the way out here to Kalamazoo for nothing. I booted him off my yard after less than 5 minutes of his BS, and I'd suggest you send someone with more people skills to do your "estimates" smh

Roof was done quickly and correct. The site foreman Chris did use our personally rented dumpster to dispose of his household trash and brand new materials still in packaging. The issues arose when it came time for soffit/facia. They were done quickly and poorly. Multiple pieces had horrible dents and bends. We called and complained to which they said they would send someone out to talk with us about the issues. They did not tell us when they would be here and showed up a few weeks later at 9am. No one knocked or looked for the owners. They walked around the house twice and left. A few weeks later some people came out to fix the issues. They had no idea what they were there to fix and did not speak English for me to explain to them. They fixed one piece and left. The brand new drip edge from the roof is all bent around the house from the facia replacement. The people who came to do the gutters were amazing. The salesman was your typical salesman. Said anything to get you to sign the dotted line then was no further help. We went with Mr Roof even though they were not our lowest quote but because they seem to pride themselves on customer service and work quality. None of which were found during our repairs. Would highly recommend finding another quote and company. You will be left out in the cold with a huge bill and regret.

Rep was good and thorough but when he said they know what they are doing when they take down the Direct TV dish is false. I had to call direct TV take a half hour of waiting and troubleshooting to be told yes there is a problem and we will be there in a week. So no TV for a week and I was told it was in the contact I signed that they have NO responsibility. It is my problem. From a distance the roof looks great. When you get close to house there are dents and black streaks where it looks like it scraped coming down. After being told that need to prove it and start sending in photos I could see where this is going. We were to have an inspection and make sure we are satisfied but after the way I was treated I can see this will go nowhere. I did not want them near my house after basically being called a liar and told Direct TV is my problem not theirs.My fault for trusting and believing. Not reading the contract thoroughly. Buyer beware

Great I would recommend their services.

It went great. They arrived with everything they needed around 9 am and by three that afternoon the only way you could tell they were here was the new roof. They took all of the trash with them there was not even a nail in the yard or driveway. I would definitely rehire.

They were here early, job was done in one day. My only issue was the shingles that were being dropped on the roof so hard that they were displacing the can lights that were installed. They cleaned everything up, I think we found 1 roofing nail after they left. Roof looks good. I was told there would be a supervisor on site for the job and the supervisor only showed up towards the end of the work and didn't stay long. This was the first time I used them, I would use them again and based on my experience, I would recommend them. Good price and a job well done!

Do NOT recommend this company. They are rude, always run late (or call 5 minutes before they are supposed to be there to cancel), unprofessional, Do DOT honor their own warranty, etc. They will tell you to file a home insurance claim if something is wrong with the roof that they placed and warrantied.

It was a horrible experience. They made a lot of promises which they did not keep. They said they would protect my landscape, and they destroyed it. They said they would come back two days later to inspect they did not. They said they would come back for a second cleanup they did not. They destroyed boards on our deck on the side of our house and on the facia. They cracked boards and filled it with black caulk and left others un-caulked. We have shingles kinked up from the roof and after three days of sun they are still standing up. No one has come back to inspect the awful job but they did send a bill.
