 + -1 moreMr Gs Keys is the best! We have had other companies in the past, he was so much better and less expensive! He fixed two door lock problems. First, the front door key wasn’t going in the lock well and the knob was very loose. He fixed both and took the time to show me the problem and how he fixed it. Second the side door deadbolt was not latching. He took it apart, realigned the latch and now it is working great! I would use him again and highly recommend their service.

As he got into it, it became clear that the job was bigger than expected. He thoroughly explained each discovery and his proposed solution. He stayed with it into late Saturday afternoon and did a thorough and complete job. I was very pleased with his service.

 + -1 moreHe spent an hour on the door lock and adjusted it so it works much better and left me with 3 keys to my door. He was very knowledgable and polite.
Description of Work: I recently bought an older home which was built in 1940. The previous owners lost the only key to the front door 25 years ago and never replaced it. In addition, the door was difficult to close and fully lock. John adjusted the lock and filed down an area on the latch to make the lock move more easily. He also had some vintage keys that he was able use to make me 3 new keys, and gave me some education about my old doors and door knobs.

Description of Work: Rekeyed 6 door locks and 4 deadbolts. His knowledge and experience really showed when he was able to get our Anderson storm door, which uses a different style key than our Schlages, to work with the Schlage keys. I'm not sure if he was relatively expensive, but I felt the price was fair, certainly a lot cheaper and easier than replacing every lock in our new-to-us house. I was very satisfied with his service, and he required no babysitting to complete the task. Would use again.
