Perfectly. The vinyl fence was easily approved by the HOA. The installation went flawlessly. Great owner to work with. I highly recommend Metrofence.

Ivan was a pleasure to work with. He came out promptly, give us a reasonable and affordable estimate, and scheduled a time that fit our summer schedule. He and his helper came as promised and carefully removed the old fence and put the new one up board by board. It is perfectly done and beautiful. Even though get there was more digging and leveling then he expected, he honored his original bid. We are very happy with his work and the fence.

The project went very smoothly and we couldn't be happier with the results! They did a great job - our dog loves the back yard now and can run around freely. I do believe that if and when we sell the house, a completely fenced back yard will be a plus. Incidentally, I called them back in 2018 for some additional work when our neighbor reconfigured his fencing and left a gap. Metro fit us in around other larger projects and installed a small piece to enclose that opening. I will definitely call them again if I have further fencing needs. Professional and all-around nice guys!

It went well - was fast once it was started! Only complaint was how long we had to wait in line before so many other people to get the job done! Ivan was great and I've already recommended him to others.

Ivan responded promptly to the invitation to bid. Offered a very good price and built the best-looking fence on the block. There were several things that I really liked. 1) Metrofence had a pretty full line of jobs ahead of me. His time estimate on beginning the job was reasonable and the fence project was started when he said it would be. He kept me informed all along the way. b) They custom-cut the fence boards on site. c) Ivan was very thorough in cleaning up after the job.

The quote was competitive and they did a great job installing a high quality fence. They were courteous and very professional.

Perfect! We obtained Metrofence contact info thru Angie's List and had Ivan come out to give an estimate to close off 2 unfenced areas of our back yard and set a new mailbox post for us. After working through the configuration, Ivan provided an estimate that was right in the budget I had set aside for this project. Ivan and his crew of 1 arrived on time, consulted with us over a couple of minor issues that cropped up during the post-hole prep, and was courteous and professional throughout. The fence is great! Our aging dog can now wander around off leash in her own yard and I can relax out there without having her drag me all over! This will also add resale appeal to the house should be decide to sell in the future as the back yard is now completely fenced. A side note - it was only after we had contracted with Ivan and Metrofence that I was talking about the project with our daughter and she told me that Metrofence had installed their dog run several years ago and had only good things to say about Ivan and the company! We are very happy with the work done and the Metrofence crew in general - a good company to work with.

     We requested a bid from Ivan because of the great reviews we read on Angies List.   On his initial visit Ivan worked with us to come up with a design that satisfied our needs.  He was patient, friendly and very professional.  He thoroughly explained the steps he would take and the approximate time frame.
     Once the project was started both Ivan and Toby, who worked with him, were very helpful and friendly in answering our questions.  Both of their attention to details were great and the end product was fantastik.  We were extremely thrilled with the final look.  We would definitely recommend Metrofence to handle any of Angie's list subscribers who want one built.

I was very pleased with Ivan from start to finish. He responded quickly to my initial inquiry and came out on a rainy weekend day to give me my estimate. He gave me several different fencing options. He gave me an accurate estimate of both the price and when they would be able to complete the job. Ivan and one co-worker (I'm sorry! I've forgotten his name. Toby?) finished the work in 2 days - with a day in between for cement hardening. The fence looks terrific.

Ivan and his team were fantastic.  The fence looks even better than we expected.  Despite running into some unexpected challenges, they charged exactly what they quoted/estimated.  They did not ask for anything extra.  I would highly recommend this firm for building a fence.

Ivan and Toby are extremely professional and personable, and they worked very efficiently and carefully, taking the extra time to do the job right.  I liked the way they dug a trench in spots so the fence line would be level, and it looks very nice.  When they came to put in the fence, they went over the area to fence and we decided together to change the dimensions to make a better fit, and they included the extra length of fencing at no extra charge.  Posts were set in concrete, to make an extremely stable foundation to keep my dogs safe.  They reviewed how to use the gates with me, in case I hadn't used this type before.  They also reminded me before they left, that they stand behind their work, and I could give them a call if I had any questions or if there were any problems at all with the fence.
     They came when they said they would, and Ivan always responded to my texts within a day when we were arranging times and details of the type of fence.  They were also extremely patient with my questions and requests for changes in date of installation.  They waited until spring to install it at my request, and only charged the amount of the estimate given the previous fall.  If I knew anyone who wanted a fence put in, I would recommend this company every time.  I got their names from Angie's list, and I'm very glad I did!!

I first contacted Ivan around the second week of August 2014.  He was able to come out for our initial meeting in a reasonable amount of time.  Ivan and Toby and I walked the property and discussed what was needed to get the job done.  He had a book of photographs of previous work, and was able to show me what a final product would look like.  He gave me a ballpark estimate of costs in the initial contact.  A formal written estimate followed about 6 days later.  The initial estimate was revised when I wanted to upgrade to all cedar materials, which was more expense.  The written estimate included work for the neighbor.
The proposal was agreed to on 8/20/14.  The project was completed towards the end of October 2014.  The delay was due to the number of projects ahead of me.  Ivan was conscientious about keeping me posted as to schedule by phone and email.
 The first thing I would note is how hard working this pair were.  When they were on site, the worked steadily, except when I interrupted Ivan to ask questions as they worked.  He was patient and answered my questions fully.  It is hard, dirty work digging post holes, cutting tree roots with chain saws and handling cement for the posts.  Materials were carried from a trailer.
The second thing I would note is how knowledgeable and skilled this pair were.  I guess when this is the only thing you do, you build up a real skill set.  What the Amish are to furniture, Ivan and Toby are to fences.  These guys are craftsman.  The end result was a work of art.  They are a real team and work well together.
Ivan and Toby tried hard to make sure the neighbor's concerns were taken into account.  I have neighbors on 3 sides of the property, and all were pleased as to the quality of materials used and the quality of construction.
My wife and I are extremely pleased with the end result.  While the cost was higher than we initially planned for, we feel the end result was well worth it.  There is a certain feeling of pride seeing our fence on the property.

This was the second time we used Metrofence to install a fence for us. Our first time was a very small project ($500) in 2013 and it seemed like we couldn't get anyone interested in coming out to even give us an estimate on such a small project. I contacted at least a dozen local fence installers, and only one of them (besides Metrofence) even came out to provide an estimate. West Michigan Fence Consultants was the only other company that came out to take measurements and committed to provide an estimate the following day. Three days later, we hadn't received a call back. I left two voicemails for the salesman we'd been working with, but they never were returned.
Ivan from Metrofence came out happily and did an excellent job. I was so happy with how well he treated us that when we bought a new house and needed a much bigger fence installation performed, Metrofence was the only place I called. He's very busy and we had some weather and supply delays, but he kept us fully informed at every step along the way. The installation went great, and we have received a surprising number of compliments on the fence. We could not be happier with Metrofence.

Ivan was very professional from the first consultation at my property, through my material choice & scope of project change(s), my hesitations during install, right through to the last bit of cleanup. I'm very pleased with their work and can't wait for the warmer weather to fully enjoy the fruits of their labors.  I'm thankful I did research on Angie's List which led me to Ivan's company: Metrofence.

I called Metrofence because of the excellent rating they had on Angie's List.  Ivan came to my house and inspected the area and informed me that he may have to replace two of the posts.  He quoted me a price and I agreed to the work.  I had recently laid a new cement driveway that the old fence post was mounted in and I had expressed my concern to Ivan about messing up the look with the work I needed done.  He was very assuring that it would be nice and neat and continued to explain how it would be done.
Due to the nature of his business I did have to wait a several weeks for the service but it was summer and a busy time for him. When I did call him to inquire when it would be done, he was very assuring that he did not forget about me and that I was on his agenda. He always returned my calls in a timely manner.
Well it was worth the wait.  He performed the service when the appointment was made.  I came home that night and could hardly tell it had been completed.   The gate works great again and I am very pleased with the outcome.  Because he only needed to replace one post and not two that he initially thought might be, he reduced the price to my satisfaction.

Work went very well. Estimate was timely and around what we expected. Due to the number of people in front of us, we had to wait however, that was not a problem. Fence posts installed and the fence installed one board at a time. We love how Ivan paid attention to slopes and rises in the grade. Fence turned out wonderful. We are very happy with the fence and the work Metro Fence did for us!
