This company completely gets it. They show up quickly. They email you updates on snow fall and their plowing/snow blowing plans. I left a review on another site and on this one so that those of you looking for a solid snow removal option will understand how good they are. And, because I often read reviews and wonder if the person who gives some firm great review is somehow connected to the company: I am not. I am just super-happy to have found a company that is actually great against many competitors that I know, from previous experiences, are not. Meadowlawn is so pro that they have returned, on two or three occasions, to remove snow from our driveway, twice, in the same snowfall. Who does that? I'm a fan.

Overall they did a good job. I particularity liked that they regularly communicate their schedule of plowing. My driveway was always plowed timely. If there were additional plowing that I needed I would call them and they came in a timely manner. I will be signing up with them again this coming winter.

Nothing was done on the part of Meadow Green.  They dismissed our complaint and said that the driver was not at fault but it was clear not only to us, but several others who came out to inspect the damage, that it was cause by the snow plow.  Very disappointed in their lack of customer service!!!!

Got a very prompt response for the request for a quote.  Two neighbors are already using Meadowgreen for snow plowing so I hoped I would get a good deal.  Pricing was done over the phone, I think they just use Google Earth to do the estimates.  No need to wait for someone to come out and measure.
Plowing pricing was within my expectations.  This was my first year buying plow service.  After 2013-2014 I could not handle it on my own.  Due to the 2013-2014 season, most companies including Meadowgreen do not plow "unlimited" anymore.  The rate was for 25 plows, anything above would be at a rate that was approximately 1/25 the initial price, per additional plow.
 The early winter hit and Meadowgreen was ready.  I arrived home late at night when the blizzard hit and they had already been there and it looked great.  
All through the season they keep on top of things.  They cleaned the city plow sludge and kept the mailbox clear.  Their communication was great, they use email to let you know about their plans to plow and what their schedule is.  One time I emailed them because the city plows had totally blocked off our driveway, and they were there quickly to take care of it.
We only ended up getting plowed about 20 times, turned out to be a good value considering I did basically no work to keep the driveway clear all winter.  We actually got plowed more than 20 times but they do not charge for "touch-ups".
They say they will fix lawn damage from the plowing but I do not see any damage that needs fixed.  The driveway also does not look any worse than before.  I was concerned since our driveway is a little cracked it might be an issue, but they had no problem keeping it clear without any damage.
Very happy, will use them next year and plan to have them fertilize the lawn this spring as well.

They were responsive when called. All work was completed as contracted.

I renewed my seasonal contract for 2014. I have used Meadowgreen for five years now and have been very pleased with the service. They have been very responsive to requests for assessment of my lawn or any additional service. One time I called to have somebody check on the health of the lawn and they did it the same day. They also plowed for me this last winter and did a great job, especially considering the extreme winter we had. Somehow they manage to time it right for return visits to clean out the end of my drive after the county plows have come through.

Great - there before 5am on every snowing morning, kept the piles mostly away from the mailbox (a big challenge this winter), and it looks like very little damage to the grass on the edges.

They are extremely reliable.Each time it would snow Meadowgreen would always be there to remove snow without fail. At the end of the season they follow-up to inquire about their customer service throughout the season. If any extra snow fell after the first removal they made sure to come back and remove the additional snow.

We used Meadowgreen at our house and a rental property. Their driveway plowing service has been good; however, their sidewalk clearing has been consistently disappointing. They have not honored their commitment to clear snow within 36 hours of snowfall. We have had to call them three times this season to get them to clear the sidewalks of multiple inches of snow (in addition to a time I took care of it myself, as the sidewalk turned into an icy, dangerous mess after they didn't clear snow adequately and then it melted/rained on top of that).
They have been somewhat responsive when we've called to get them to come out (generally doing the work when prompted, but not returning messages to let us know it's taken care of or apologize for the delay and fact that we've had to remind them that they have also been paid to clear the walks). When we received 6 inches of snow last week, they cleared the driveway, but did not remove snow from the sidewalk (or, oddly, they may have cleared about 1/3 of the sidewalk, which they did at least one other time as well) and took days to respond to multiple inquiries, by phone and email, asking them to do the work, why it was not done, and what recourse we have. After two days (which was four days after the snow stopped falling), we finally received a reply that said and quot;This is the first we've heard of it.and quot; They did clear the walk later that day, but, several days later, they hav not followed up in any way, to let us know it was done, to apologize (no apology has been issued in any communication we've had with them, in any of the number of times and ways we've contacted them this winter), or to address our larger concern about the work not being done per our contract.

While it was not promised, I would've been impressed had they ensured that the sidewalk corner cut was clear and the fire hydrant on the property was accessible; neither of those happened. The effective width of the sidewalk has also shrunk over the season, to about half of what the sidewalk actually is. It would be hard to walk through that piece of sidewalk and impossible, now, to maneuver a wheelchair through it; these should be standard, not impressive, expectations to meet. (Update: in the last pass, they did clear the sidewalks to their normal size and clear the curb cut. I am pleased to see that, though it was not part of the routine to maintain that level of clearance, as this is the first time this has been done, in late February.)

Were I writing a review about their plowing services, I'd say they were quite good. However, their lack of follow-through and customer service regarding the sidewalk clearing will cause us never to use them again for any services. Had I known the standards for sidewalk clearing and driveway plowing would be so different, we certainly would not have used them. After experiencing their complete lack of follow-through on work they have been paid to do and of professionalism in communicating about the situation and ensuring that, after the first call to remind them of their commitment, the situation did not repeat a second and third time, we will never use them for any services again.

They remain competitive and completely satisfactory.

Hired to clear snow. Did a good job. Will use them again. Responded when called.

This season, they've showed up at times we've gotten 1/2 inch of snow, which makes me wonder how they can afford to. Today, after getting 8" of heavy snow, they are nowhere to be found. They may have simply "missed" my house, but in February? After plowing my drive all season? The entire neighborhood has been plowed. So, we've called to leave messages...again and again. Finally, we received a call from your office late afternoon, telling us "we are on our way"...well, it's been 2 hours and it's now getting dark, and you have yet to show up. We are less than 2 miles from your location. Of course, your phone system is now jammed up and not taking messages. Perfect. I guess we'll spend the time making sure to find a quality, service oriented provider for the future.

We moved into a new home in August. Our yard was in very bad shape. They have been coming at least weekly to care for it, and to get it back up to par. In about 6 weeks you can already see the difference. Theyhave done a wonderful job at a very reasonable price.

Meadowgreen has been snowplowing our driveway for the past few winters. We have a fairly long and quot;Land quot; shaped drive and initially had a difficult time finding a company that could do the job without damaging our home or landscaping. Meadowgreen has worked out very well. They also come through in the spring and patch any damaged grass.

I once again hired this company. They do a wonderful job. Even came back to remove the stuff the street plows left at the end of the driveway. I recommend them highly. They are the best!

Website is a little challenging to figure out how to sign up and pay. Didn't actually receive an automated confirmation that my payment had gone through so I called Jon Greer the Ops Manager to confirm. He was very professional about everything. I asked what number I should call if I should have an issue and he seemed a bit surprised that I would actually need to call for service (as I had to do repeatedly with 2 previous providers). He chuckled and said that I could call his number but that I shouldn't really need to. I have to say that I have not had to call Meadowgreen this season in spite of having several major and severe snowfalls this Winter. Overall, very impressed with the service.

The representative for Lawn Rx always shows up on time with a clean and neat truck ready to serve. They leave informative literature and instructions after each application. I have never had service even close to what Lawn Rx provides. Always friendly, always courteous, always professional.
