K & M NORTHFIELD DODGE INC

I recently broke my hip and felt that a Town and Country would work best for me and our family. We decided to buy a used 2016 Town and Country with very low miles so we would have two or more years of factory warranty, bumper to bumper, and up to 5 years on the drive train. We had explored other dealers and visited some of them on line or in person. Their selection was very limited and the units they had were all in excess of 25,000 miles. I called K & M Dodge and spoke to Bruce Whittenbach in used cars. He was professional and direct. We discussed what I was looking for and what I wanted to spend. He had two units that could possibly work for us. One with 12,000 miles and one with 18,000. (They had over 40 units to choose from). When I explained my injury he said he would have them pulled out and up by the office so I could see them with our much moving around. My wife loved the white one, and I loved that it only had a little over 12,000 miles on it! Bruce was able to make the sale work to within $ 500 of what we had discussed on the phone. I was very satisfied with the terms and we had a deal! After a few days, we noticed the clear coat lifting off a spot along the bottom of the driver's door. I called Bruce about it and he listened to me, and then had me bring it in to their body shop. I was not sure what to expect. Chris Pitts, the body shop manager helped me to understand that this was a problem with a repaint done to the door some time prior to K & M owning the car and was not a factory warranty issue. But instead of passing the buck, they said they would repair the pealing clear coat! I was very thankful that they did this for us at no cost. And if that was not enough, they provided a loaner Town and Country for the three days it took to make the repairs to ours. My wife and I so appreciate Bruce and Chris and K&M's help with this. It’s nice to know that there are still companies and staff in the car world one can still trust. We would definitely use them again!

They did a nice job. We just got back from Oklahoma and there was hail and our car was damaged from the storm. They gave us a nice estimate, they're competitive with the others, and they did our car right away. They made me feel good about it and they guarantee their work for the life of the car. They're just easy to deal with. They dealt with the insurance and everything, it was smooth, and they did a great job, you can't even tell that it was damaged.

My husband bought the extended warranty and has had to use it. By going to the dealership there is no out of pocket costs.

It went well, however, it took a little longer than I liked. Might have been a busy time.

After much research, we had decided to buy a year-old Dodge Caravan. We saw one that was in good condition and an interesting color advertised on line for sale at K and M Dodge. We went to check it out. The owner of the dealership had been using the van as his personal vehicle so it had to be cleared out. When they realized we were serious buyers, they let us take it overnight to thoroughly test drive it and have our own mechanic inspect it. It was a reasonable price; there was no hard sell or bargaining. Processing was easy for payment, calling our credit union, getting our temporary license. They even remembered to get us our Michigan parks sticker. We did worry when we got a phone call later saying that the finance guy had lost our down payment check. Fortunately it was found within hours, but. that was troubling. No Sunday hours; Isn't that when people shop for cars and other goods - on the weekends?!

I have a '97 Honda Accord and it is starting to rust. I stopped in K and M's body shop to get a quote on fixing the rust spots. Since it is an older car, it is not worth what that would actually cost but Sam (who was giving me the estimate) said he could clean up the spots, spay some protector on them and then touch it up. This will hopefully just slow the rusting process. It was just along the lines of what I was looking for. He noticed my foggy headlight and said he could fix that for me as well. Sam was very honest and professional and I am happy with the work they did. I would definitely go back to K and M if I ever need any more body work done on my car.

The tow truck picked up my car at 11:30 am. When I came back from lunch, there was a voice mail that my car needed a new ignition cylinder and to please call back to authorize them to go ahead and work on it, which I did. I received a call at 2:45 - just a little over 3 hours after they picked up my car - that my car was ready for pick up. EVERYONE at K and M, especially on a nasty weather Friday, was wonderful.

THE THINGS I LIKE MOST ABOUT THE SERVICE OF THE COMPANY IS THAT THE WORK THEY DO IS EXCELLENT. THEY'RE VERY QUICK ABOUT THE WORK THEY DO AND I'VE BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR SIX YEARS.

EVERYTHING TURNED OUT GREAT. I DIDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS SETTING UP AN APPOINTMENT. THEY WERE FLEXIBLE AROUND MY SCHEDULE. MY INSURANCE COVERED EVERYTHING, AND THEY WERE VERY EFFICIENT.
