It was a very good experience. They were very friendly and she told me that there might be an additional cost. She broke down the price for me. He was here on time and it took him a half hour. He did his work just fine and I was very happy with him. I would definitely use them again.

Everything went well. Everyone I dealt with was very nice. The locksmith came the day after the 4th of July early in the morning. I had an extra lock that needed to be changed that I didn't realize when making the appointment and there was no problem with getting it changed. I even found out that the locksmith had come on his day off to change my locks. I would definitely recommend Hoogerhyde.

The technician phoned me to let me know that he was running 10 minutes late (a nice courteous touch).

I called them and they took care of everything. I had some doubts of calling locksmiths to do that for me but I trusted them because they are reputable. They were prompt, fast and I felt really safe with them. Their price also was not very much, it was reasonable.

Keys to our 97 Explorer were lost, the extra key inaccessible, and this was out of state. Recent stories in the news about serious problems with some locksmiths augmented the fear factors. We contacted the dealership at home to see if they could help us get one from a dealership in Grand Rapids, but the vehicle is too old. Hoogerhyde specializes in security. Scott, the specialist, met my son at the vehicle, had some questions, took care of the problem, and we had a new key quickly, for a reasonable price! Our car (bought used) had a trunk lock that wouldn't open, rendering the trunk unusable. We suffered this for a while but finally decided we needed it fixed ASAP in order to be able to secure our luggage during an upcoming trip. We called Hooger Hyde in the late afternoon and the friendly receptionist took our information so that Scott, their automotive locksmith, could call us back to make an appointment. We talked to Scott yesterday around 5:30 pm and made an appointment for this morning. We brought the car over at 9 am this morning. During the middle of the worst snowstorm so far this winter, Scott patiently spent over 2 hours getting our lock working again. This required him clambering into the trunk through the interior of the car and working from inside the trunk in freezing cold temperatures without gloves (because of the need for manual dexterity). Scott was able to identify the cause of our problem, remove both parts of the locking mechanism for repair, and get things working again-he simply did a terrific job! What is more, he was a pleasure to deal with. Despite the weather and the discomfort that must have been involved in the work we had him do, our locksmith was professional, courteous, and good-humored the entire time. Thoroughly recommended!!!
