Wonderful! The service at Herrema Plumbing is great! We are glad we hired them to do our repairs. They were courteous, on time, and very professional. I would recommend for your plumbing needs.

When the well tank pump ran it sounded as if a hammer was being struck very loudly in the basement because the pipes were left freestanding temporarily until the work was ready to be finished. This resulted in a plastic fitting being over torqued and cracking which left roughly 2-3 inches of water in portions of our basement which was being used as storage. We had to empty out the basement, and an employee brought a wet vac and addressed the broken fitting. The employee was rude and kept saying the work "was done right" which clearly isn't correct or we would not have had a swimming pool in our basement. The damage incurred was roughly $500, which we had to ask for reimbursement. They never offered blowers or dehumidifiers to dry out the area, luckily we have great neighbors which helped on that front. After having the argument with the plumber our contractor took the lead in making remedies and handled the situation very well and satisfactorily got us credits for the damage and inconvenience. When installing the toilet, they didn't install the correct lid (soft close) which was an added extra and also failed to install the proper shower head which we had an upcharge for. The upgraded shower head wasn't installed with the proper pipe (this particular shower head has a rain function which requires a 90-degree elbow for that function to work). I'm not sure if the incorrect installation would fall on the shoulders of the plumbers or the suppliers, in either case added to the headache and sour taste involved with this install and plumbing group. Overall a terrible experience for my wife and I. I would not recommend them based on our experiences.

I had been given a recommendation to call herrema plumbing as they had done alot of work for the condo a**. where I live & I was told they had reasonable rates-there ad in yellow pages states they bill by the job not the hr -yet I felt my bill to be high for what was done being that I didnt realize it was 59.95 just to ring my doorbell then another 50$ for the 15 min it took to tape the pipe -I called for infro on if this was normal or per hr they said they would get back with me -never called back -they had there money

It went very well- am happy with all aspects of product & service.

For the first trip out here, to work on the shower, they didn't turn the water valve off all the way, and now I have very noticeable water damage about 10 feet long on my downstairs ceiling, thanks to the flood of water that poured through it. They made no effort to remedy the situation even after being told of it.
On the 2nd trip, they installed the water to the tub faucets wrong. They put the hot water to the Right hand faucet. They refuse to correct it without payment, because they said that is how the pipes were coming out from the basement, and that is how the prior plumber did it. I pointed out that if the prior plumber had done a good job, that Herrema wouldn't have been called out to redo it. I didn't hire them to ALSO do the job wrong. Even though I was in the house and they could have asked about this, (and they should have had the tools and parts to change this), they installed them backwards. The guy on the phone even admitted he had never had anyone want them to be installed backwards, but they still refuse to fix it.

Steve Herrema, owner did the original estimate and was our only contract person. very professional and kept us in the loop at every step. We had one slight glitch with the painter but Steve handled it as soon as he was aware. Cost was $1,000 more than others but work was top notch.

...i would..and plan to..call herrema again for any further plumbing work.......

He was very upfront, very helpful, and honest. He was really quick, efficient, and clean. He certainly knows his plumbing. Everything has been good so far.

Great - easy, punctual - stuck to estimate.

He was cleaned and took his shoes off and didn't walk all over my clean carpet. He did his job and helped me with a toilet that was leaking. He didn't even charge me for that which was very nice. I was very pleased and happy. He was very nice. I've worked with him before because they did all the plumbing in the condo unit. The price was a little on the high side because he was only here for 15 minutes.

We were very pleased with them. The person was very fair and honest. There were some more things to be done and he said he would come back.

The repair required two visits. The first visit the plummer thought perhaps tightening the pipes and joints, after they were loosed from installing a new sink, would solve the slow leak. However, the leak continued and a second visit was required to replace the cracked pipes. They waived the 'house call' charge for the second visit.

It ended up costing me considerably more than I expected. The plumber was polite and on time, and this was probably an unusual issue, but it took two follow-up visits to stop that toilet from leaking.

I felt pressured into buying more than I had planned on. He just happened to have a $275 faucet sitting in his truck that he could sell and install for us. Later, I realized I could have gotten the same thing at Home Depot for a whole lot less. He was polite, but pushy. The work has held up, though, so I can't complain about that.

THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB. EVERYTHING ABOUT THESE GUYS WAS PROFESSIONAL. THEY COMPLETED THE JOB WITHIN HOURS OF ARRIVING TO OUR HOME. THEY DO GREAT WORK!

ALTHOUGH I WAS UPSET SOME WORK THE OWNERS BROTHER DID AWHILE AGO, I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE JOB THEY DID THIS TIME AROUND. THE PRICE WAS A LITTLE HIGH BUT THEY DID THE WORK CORRECTLY.

I THINK THAT THEIR PRICES WERE KIND OF EXPENSIVE. WE GOT MORE WORK DONE THAN WE PLANNED ON. IF I HAD TO HIRE A PLUMBER AGAIN I WOULD MOST DEFINITELY SHOP AROUND FIRST.

THEY ARE A VERY PROFESSIONAL COMPANY. THEY DO AN EXCELLENT JOB AT GETTING BUSY, AND ARE HARD WORKING PEOPLE. THEY ALSO HAVE A GREAT CLEAN UP WITH FRIENDLY SERVICE.
