Bob replaced a broken main circuit, installed an additional ground rod to bring it up to code, replaced all the wiring from the mast to the electrical box, and replaced the external socket. Part of the fee also included a GFI rewire. I also had him check two old plugs for hidden ground wires, which he found (old style wrap around clamp type), and was able to convert the two outlets to grounded versions.
I recommend Bob to anyone that wants to be treated fairly, get a good rate, and wants high quality work. Bob is easy going and explains what he's doing, if you want to know. The only caveat is that he can be hard to get a hold of sometimes. I have found that to be the case with other contractors in the past, especially if they are a small outfit. I imagine that if I would have chosen a bigger operation, I probably would have paid more in overhead.
If you can be patient, Bob's a great guy to hire. I should add that Bob did work for me once before, when I needed a new circuit installed because a previous homeowner split the circuit between an oven and dryer! He did fine work on that job too.

Bob Gudbrandson is a highly qualified professional who did the electrical work for a basement remodeling project. He suggested using LED fixtures, which we enjoy, and he was extremely flexible in working around our schedule. I reccomend him without reservation.

It went great! Bob is an expert electrician, a perfectionist and a thinker. He's also a really nice person. Not only does the finished work look good, but it's there to stay, works perfectly and everything is EXACTLY where I wanted it. In addition, the cost was reasonable. The only thing unexpected was an additional charge for an inspection fee (which hasn't taken place yet).
I will definitely call on Bob again for my electrical needs.

I Had a ceiling light that kept falling out of the ceiling. I had several friends who tried to put it back up but it would not stay. Mr. Gubrandson came and had to pull the old junction box out and put in a new one. I am glad he came because the fixture wires were sparking and I could have had a fire. He had to come back the next day because he didn't have the right size part but he came and did the job and have not had a problem since. Very nice guy. Cleaned up all his little bits of plaster and insulation that came down from the ceiling.

He did his job quickly, efficiently and was friendly and fair. I liked him very much. He is fabulous, found the problem others could not and was very fair priced. Will use him again if i ever need electric work. A+

He did a great job of figuring out how to run the wiring through finished walls without having to do any plaster or painting afterwards.

Bob responded promptly to my phone message and set up an appointment for the estimate. He was prompt for the estimate and listened to my concerns. A few days later I received a written estimate. It was clear, concise and complete. A few weeks later Bob came out to do the work. Everything went very smoothly. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. He makes it all look very easy and was happy to answer my questions.

Great experience. Bob came out to assess our installation. He mailed us an estimate and was able to install the detectors very quickly. Bob is prompt, and when he was delayed for one visit, he called ahead to let me know he was tied up in traffic. He definately knows what he is doing, and was a pleasure to work with.

Bob was a pleasure to work with. He gave us some good insight into a couple of things we hadn't thought of, was flexible when we needed to make a change to the plan and kept things cleaned up very nicely. Our only issue was having the project dragged out longer than it should have been because of some other projects he was working on during the same time but for us this wasn't a huge deal - we would still recommend him.

Called for a quote and scheduled a time for him to come out and look at the project. We received a quote in the mail within days which at that point we scheduled a time for him to come out and start the work. Electrician was right on time and got right to work. He finished everything and even scheduled an inspector to come out that morning to finalize the project.

He was on time, he was thorough, and his fee was very reasonable and I got a 10% discount for using Angie's List. He provided a really nice invoice for me to submit to Consumer's Energy for reimbursement. I will definitely use him again for any electrical needs that I have in the future. It is really hard to get an electrician to be responsive, especially if it's a pesky little job. He was so nice that it was a pleasure to meet him.

I have nothing but good things to say about him. He is very inexpensive, and very personable. He is quite thorough in his work, and I have been very happy with him.
