Since 1973 Gordon Water Systems has been providing Water treatment solutions to families and businesses around west Michigan. We are now in 2nd Generation Ownership and 3rd generation is in the business. Our Mission/Passion: We Love to help all people have Clean, Safe water in their home or business. We bring positive Energy to the solutions we provide. We take Pride in how we deliver our products and services. These products and services include: Water Treatment, Water Softeners, Iron Filters, PFAS Filtration, Drinking Water Solutions & Bottled Water Service. We offer the largest range of water treatment equipment including the Non-Kinetico product line providing the widest range of innovative features, longest & most comprehensive warranties and prices. We service almost all makes and models. So whether it is taking care of your old unit to keep it running or helping you step up to the Non-electric Kinetico, we are the call to make.

I lived with this because I liked the softener brand and their delivery guys did a nice job. Things changed when they put a person named "Doris" in charge. When I called in to explain the problem, Doris was incredibly rude. I tried to explain what happened, but she told me "too bad". Literally. She then told me any future orders would be COD, I explained to her that I had done business with her company for 20+ years and that I would not accept COD terms. At that point I told her that I was closing my accounts, and that she should arrange to pick up the rental units. Her response was "That's fine".
I hired a new company (Canney's - they are excellent) and replaced the equipment. Of course, Gordons never came and got their rental units until after my 3rd call. On that third call, I told them they had 48 hours to get the stuff or it was going in the trash.
I thought the matter was done, but of course, no. I have since received two separate letters from them threatening legal action. Each time, I have called in to them and told them that I would be glad to pay them any money I owed them, but my balance showed zero. I requested that they provide 2 years worth of service and payment info so I could reconcile it with my data, but I never received it. Each time I did this, I talked to a manager (my bad for not getting their names), but they assured me that they would review this, they were sorry, and they would get back to me in "2 or 3 days". Not surprisingly, I never heard from them again, but I do expect that at some point I will get another threatening letter.
Bottom line ---- I wouldn't use this company again - EVER!

To elaborate a bit more on Phil, he was wonderful to deal with, kinda funny and quirky at the same time but I say that in a good way though. I feel I have made a long term relationship with Gordon Water because of him. 3 days went by when I called back and set up an installation, they were on time, the installation went faster than expected, Tommy was great, very professional, very nice and answered all my questions. Overall feel I made the right investment with a lease to purchase option that made sense to me.
Their systems do cost a little more than your average unit that you can buy at sears and throw away in 5 years. When you consider that, these systems make more sense, will pay for themselves quickly, and get many years of use out of it, and they made it more affordable for me per month than the salt I was putting in my old unit, for that reason I couldn't pass it up.
For anyone looking to get service done to their current water softener, replace it, or any other bottled water or filtration solution I highly recommend Gordon Water, stop in and ask for Phil (the bald guy) Miller. They have a variety of solutions to fit nearly every budget.
