FENCE CONSULTANTS OF WEST MICHIGAN

The quote was right on. They scheduled the job and did it within two weeks. The men who put up the fence knew what they were doing and the entire company is very professional!

From estimate to proposal to completed job, Fence consultants were prompt, professional and knowledgeable. They installed approximately 330' of six foot black chain link quickly and expertly, even making on the fly adjustments to help the fence look its best. And when a scheduling conflict arose (on my end, no fault of their own) they were very accommodating to install when I needed an extra day. A great job and very good to work with!

They did a good job. They arrived on time and worked steadily, getting the work done in a reasonable time.

I couldn't really find that many around here. He came promptly and did what I asked. They showed up and did it. It was nice that they didn't expect payment until it was all done. I love it. They were better than the one company but it was a different type of fence. They never really set-up any time, day or anything. They just showed up.

I liked the idea that they didn't oversell me and tear the whole enclosure down but took what I had and made it better.

They did an excellent job, even repairing the in-ground sprinkiing lines that were damaged during the fence installation. Highly recommended.

Went great start to finish.

First of all, this was very unusual of me to have this type of project done in absentia. I never saw a picture of what I was getting! I'm not usually this casual about something of this price. But my description was all they.needed, apparently.

Second, I don't know of anyone who is ever 100% satisfied with the price of anything. It could always be a little less, right?

Thirdly, after all of that, I am so thrilled with my new fence, I'm seriously considering doing the next phase. It was exactly what I wanted and was in by the time I got here so that I had a safe area for my dog.

Would I use them again? Absolutely!

We weren't 100% happy with them, but mostly. I don't know why it took them so long, it took them like 3 weeks before they could do it. I guess we were not expecting it to be that long. We had gotten a dog so we kind of wanted it sooner. I guess there was good communication. They did a pretty good job, it was a little bit crooked in one part but not so much that we called them back. I kind of felt they did it fast, which I guess I could say is good, but maybe they did it a little too fast. You know after waiting 2 or 3 weeks and they were only here 2 or 3 hours. I don't know, it just seemed maybe that one part could have been a little straighter.

They did a good job and cleaned up their mess. They were very courteous.

I was very taken aback at the price of the fence. Having put in a fence of the same length, materials, #gates, etc., but with more design detail, in the Chicago area less than one year ago, I was shocked to find that the same fence would cost more than 2x the price I had paid. However, Fence Consultants price was in line with other contractors here. The salesman, Joe, was good about working with me on the design of a fence that would fit (sort of) into my budget, although the written quote was higher than his verbal estimate. The fence was installed as early in the spring as possible, as I had requested. The crew was competent, and pleasant to deal with. However, during the installation there was one day when no one showed up (having said they would be there on that day), no one called, and a large amount of material from the previous day had been left stacked on my neighbor's property. I moved the materials myself, and notified the company. The other problem was that the gates were not constructed as I had asked. The crew was working very quickly, and constructed gates that are the same as the rest of the fence panels, while the plan was for more decorative gates. They are acceptable, and I did not insist that they be re-done (I needed the construction done to continue with other projects), but I was disappointed. I was also billed for the completed fence before it was actually completed (post caps had not been installed), and held back some money from my payment. The fence was completed within the week. All in all, a pretty good but pricey job.

After having a bad experience with another fencing company, Fencing Consultants came in and saved the day. They squeezed us into their very busy fall schedule and the fence was built very well. There were just a few minor things we weren't happy with but they came right back and fixed them for us. Joe, our contact, was professional. We did have a little difficulty getting a hold of him sometimes but overall we were very happy with the process and the job they did. We have since decided to finish off the 4th side of our yard next spring and we will definitely have Fencing Consultants do the work.

It is the prettiest fence you will ever see, they have done fences for years. They have run into every problem so they know what they are doing if you run into a problem. I have a neighbor who is very high maintenance and they were so accomodating to her and did everything possible to not aggravate her. Fence Consultants' clean up was great too!

I contacted Fence Consultants due to a referral from a friend. We phoned and they set up an appointment time and Joe came out a few days later and gave us multiple estimates for various types of fence (all the estimates were free) because we couldn't decide and didn't know what kind of fence to put up. Joe arrived on time and was professionally dressed and well spoken. He made suggestions on what would look best in our yard and look the best with our house. When it came time for the installing the fence they were professional and did not do any damage to plants or lawn. The fence looks fantastic and we are happy that we listened to the professional advice on which style and type of fence to do around our backyard - we couldn't be happier - it is a lot of money to spend and yes there were cheaper options but, decided to go with something that we didn't have to maintain and that would go well with our home. We had other estimates as well but, the sales people were not as professional and some did not show up at all. They also seem to use a better product than some - even though the product looks the same there are different strengths and materials. Overall we will definitely recommend to friends and co-workers!

THEY CAME OVER AND GOT RIGHT TO BUSINESS. THEY DID THEIR JOB VERY WELL. THEY DIDN T WASTE ANY TIME OR STRETCH THE JOB OUT. THEY GOT IT DONE IN A DAY AND A HALF.
