I was over charged for time including yard clean up. I was quoted a price over the phone and was billed almost 3 times the amount. The hours I was billed for where not accurate.Being I was here and timed the guys while they worked. I was at my father's funeral when I received a call from a distant family member who worked for the company. He was trying to get in contact with me to pay my bill. This family member said he was told to call me by Everetts because they thought he would have better luck collecting my debt. Needless to say it was unprofessional. after my father's funeral I had to go down to their office and tried to straighten out the bill. I was told the over the phone quote was wrong and in courtesy they took $50 off the bill. I have a very small yard and had two yard pick ups and over paid. This happened just over a year ago and have been asked by Angie's list to rate our experience.

I contracted Everetts Landscape to do a total transformation of my back yard.  From start to finish, they stepped up and 1. designed the project to what I wanted  2. spent time with me at his nursery going over the types of landscape materials (boulders, pavers, plantings)  3.paid attention to even the smallest details 4. suggested ideas along the way to enhance the original plan 5. were professional, prompt and courteous. Working with Alex, there were never any surprises other than the good end result.

Always very professional, on time, quality work.

Everett's did an excellent job meeting our needs. Turned our backyard into a sanctuary with a fantastic water feature. Did have a slight anomaly which was quickly resolved. The crew was excellent and answered our questions as the work progressed as well as being a delight to work with.

They didn't inform me as to when they were going to get started, so just a heads up on that. They work on what they can when the weather allows. When I met with Brent, he was punctual and he listened to what I wanted to have done. He told me it would be a couple of days before he would be able to get back with me on the estimate. I was agreeable on the price considering what I needed to have done and how much work it needed. I had mentioned to him that I would like some pavers running along side the side walk that meets the driveway, however, when we spoke later about the estimate the pavers were not listed in the estimate. They promptly got back with me on a second estimate that included the pavers. However, the color I picked (black) was not a wise choice because the sun in the summer radiates more heat from the black and dries out the grass next to them quickly and needs to be watered more frequently.
 I mentioned to the guys that were doing the work, that I had told Brent that I wanted to do the complete island in front of our house including the part that is on the other side of the property line because if I didn't the area that wasn't resodded, any weeds that were there, would invade the new sod. Besides the fact that it was a small portion anyway. He didn't relay this information to the guys.
Brent had given me an estimate for 2500 sq ft of sod. I don't know if it was because of the missed information mentioned above or if he under estimated (even though he took measurements when we intially spoke). Some how they didn't have enough sod to finish the job. I was told to water what I had and they would be back on Monday morning to lay the rest of the sod. That night it poured buckets of rain. I thought that my sod would be floating down the street. It survived. However, the area that didn't have sod wasn't so fortunate. A good part of the dirt had been washed away. I figured that with the dirt on the sod that they still need to install, that it wouldn't be that big of a deal. After they layed the sod, I really didn't notice that much of a difference in the that area. However, that area had a serious problem with yellow nutsedge and now that it has been a few months and the grass has taken I can definitely see a slope where the last pieces of sod were laid.

Very well they cleaned out weeds and small trees that had been allowed to take over the landscaping in the front of the house while the house sat empty for over a year before we purchased the house. They cleaned and pruned all the landscaping around the water feature which was very overgrown.

This company was excellent--had the vision that I didn't have for the completed project.  They had the large equipment necessary to complete the project and it was completed quickly and efficiently with great results.  Have had many compliments on it.  The workers were top notch!

They are very good, but they are very expensive. 

We went to the local home show where we met and talked with Brian about the beautiful Canadian Green Boulders in the exhibit. We shared our issue of our backyard with him, he shared with us what he could do to help hide the bank. Brian came out, developed a plan and a quote and we agreed to proceed. Brian scheduled the boulders and crew to place them and they all arrived on a Wednesday. By Friday the boulders and trees were in place, the yard reseeded and what a change. The team of Joe, Justin and Jacob worked hard to make sure both my wife and I were happy with the placement of the boulders and the trees. They were so gracious and knowledgeable to help us through this project. Every time we asked to change things the team stepped up and surpassed even our wildest dreams. The back yard was transformed into a beautiful sight to behold. Way beyond what we could have imagined. About all we can say is "thanks so much" to all of you who helped us on this project for making our dream come true!

The work I had done was a team effort by Everett's. The project was well organized by Jaycen and Jay. They are definately a hard working group! I would rate them with a surperior rating if it were available. You will not be disappointed if you use them for any project you need done.

They were wonderful.  They were not the cheapest but were very experienced in big tree removal and stump grinding.  They did an excellent job in both areas and I could not even see any trucks in my yard.  They installed plywood sections in my yard and drove across them so that they did not destroy the lawn.  I would use them again in the future.

The lawn care is good but the other services are extremely expensive for what we got. They quoted a patio for me and came in at 150% of the budget I gave them. They also required several phone calls to schedule appointments and were still late for the date we agreed to.

It was great! Everetts was a great company to work with. A little expensive, but the result is awesome!

We've used them for several years. They did not have to replace the tree. The tree lived for two years and it was guaranteed for one. It died the second year. We assumed we would have to pay the whole replacement cost and they split the cost with us, which they did not have to do. They are outstanding. It was a large tree and we originally paid $800 for it. They are easy to work with and they stand behind what they do. They do a good job of coming up with designs that we like. They have a good reputation. If we have any questions about the landscaping they will come out and take a look even though they may not get something from it. They are not cheap but they are not the most expensive but we get what we pay for. We would like if it were less but they do follow up and take care of things when they don't have to. We are going to hire them again and we are waiting on an estimate. We have recommended them. We wish our subdivision would use them for snow plowing and maintenance because they would be less expensive than the people we are using.

It turned out well.  They have done a fair amount of work for us.  I like the availability of different plant materials and the knowledge of the design folks.  We have asked them for regular maintenance like snow plowing and lawn mowing.  We just haven't used them for it.  Prospective clients should talk to them in getting ideas and estimates for a project.
