 + -1 moreGreat! We had no idea what we were getting into but Mike is an old-house expert and we couldn't have been in better hands. He's done other projects for us since then. Inspectors are always impressed with Mike's work because it's so neat and well-labelled--and done right according to code. We just sold the historic house and I didn't have to worry about the home inspection because I know the electrical work was top notch. He has done work for us for about 15 years.

 + -1 moreFantastic! I found Mike by researching Angie's List, and couldn't have been more pleased. His price was 30% less than another quote AND I am certain the job came out better, because of Mike's extensive knowledge of lighting, due to other high profile jobs he's done. The guy knows his stuff. Had we gone with the other company (didn't find them on AL) we'd have likely put the lights in sub-optimal locations. He's a perfectionist so the job came out great. Very pleased with the results.

Description of Work: I had two outlets that were not producing any power. I called completely ready to set up an appointment. The gentleman suggested that a GFCI outlet may have tripped and affected a second outlet.....even though one was on the first floor outside and the other was in the second floor bathroom. That is exactly what the problem was (even though I could have sworn I had tried that, but I had clearly not pushed the button hard enough)! Obviously, I was not charged because nobody had to come out. They saved me anywhere from $50-$150 to have someone come out to the house just because they knew their stuff. I called a couple of other places that were going to charge me $50 just to drive to the house, without doing anything.
