If you would like your home to remain intact when movers deliver your things, do yourself a favor and do not use Corrigan Moving Systems. My husband just recently retired from 20+ yrs in the military and Corrigan was entrusted to deliver our property. The movers damaged our door and door frame at a house we had just bought and moved into only a week prior. We contacted them as soon as damage was noticed. We also presented before and after photos AND were told by the movers upon their departure we should/could contact them if we found any damage, telling us we needed to sign a paper before they could go. Obviously this was a lie as the paper they had us sign apparently absolved them of any and all damage . Clearly this is a disorganized, unreliable, and untrustworthy company —- the movers even forgot all of their necessary paperwork at our home and the owner called us to scan and send it over to him. Unbelievable. After submitting our claim we were then ignored for 30+ days and only when I followed up did they tell us they’d be doing nothing. What a horrible way to treat a veteran! I’m disgusted with this company’s utter disregard for our home and their lack of accountability. Avoid this company at all costs.

Corrigan actually performed the move, which wasn’t disclosed prior to the move. If I’d known this, i would have chosen another provider based on a previous bad experience. This experience mirrored the last. The crew rushed through the move and damaged almost every piece of my furniture in some way, not to mention my wood floors, bannister, and walls. Would definitely steer clear if I were you and would definitely not use again. I have more pics to upload, but am limited to ten.

It was the single worst experience i have ever had with any contractor. Even though i booked them 3 months in advance, the day before my move they called me and flippantly told me they did not have a truck nor crew to move my family like they contracted to do. This was so stressful as I was coordinating a move for my household which included a child, pets, my father in assisted living and my mother-in-law in hospice care -- Corrigan/Mayflower had no compassion and could not care less about our signed agreement. At that point i had no alternative but to be at their mercy-- they finally picked up one week late. When they finally delivered i had thousand of $$$ in damage. Further, I was "sold" the full replacement insurance but they want to pay you pennies on the dollar and months later i still don't have my furniture fully fixed or paid for. I posted how bad this company was on Yelp and they responded to my post with an email address of an "owner" pledging to help and i immediately contacted the owner and i never got a response. I think is was a marketing person and no one intended to ever contact me but wanted prospective customers to think the owner and Corrigan/Mayflower cared!

If you want your furniture destroyed, then book with this company. This is going to be a long one. I was hoping that my experience with Corrigan would have been a smooth one, seeing all their great reviews. However, that was not the case. I had Corrigan pick up my furniture and things from my house in Michigan a year ago, and put into their warehouse storage. The pickup went okay, only one item was damaged, but other than that everything was packed and put into the truck without issue. This was the only decent part of my experience. Fast forward to about a month ago, when I contacted Corrigan to schedule for me to pick up my things from storage with my rental truck. I was told that I had an outstanding bill for monthly storage, even though my credit card was charged every month for the year my things were in their warehouse (I had the charges on every month on my credit card bill). Their billing department is a disaster, and doesn't even know when they are charging someone or not. When I got to their warehouse, and all my furniture and things were laid out, I was extremely upset. My favorite furniture pieces were severely damaged. My $2k TV stand was in shambles and broken beyond repair. My kitchen table had gouges, chips, scratches and paint stains on it from them packing the table uncovered into the vault with things on top. One of the mover helpers even accused me of doing the damage myself. The way that my furniture and things were treated when they were packed into their warehouse vaults was appalling. I never expected things to be so damaged, especially when I have paid this company a lot of money and trusted my things would be in good hands. Another piece of my furniture was left behind at their warehouse, and when I contacted the company after I got to my destination and noticed it was missing, I was told that I instructed them to leave it there. Why would I take the top of a coffee table but tell them to leave the bottom at the warehouse? The item has been disposed of and I cannot get it back. I have claims for the damages and losses in with the company, and will update on how that goes. I am not feeling positive that I will get money back from this company for my destroyed furniture... All in all, this was the worst moving experience I've ever had. I would never recommend this company to anyone who values their household items.

The original sales/quote person was on time and very through on explaining everything that would be happening with the packing, moving and unloading of our stuff. The crew was on time and very professional. there was a hiccup on our end, our new home was not ready to move right in after the movers packed our home up. The people at Corrigan told us that they would be able to store the trailer with our stuff for a very minimal cost. Then when the home was ready, last minute notice, Corrigan was able to arrange for our stuff to be delivered immediately. Great customer service!!

Everything arrived in tack and in great condition. The driver and crews (different crew at each end of the move) were fantastic. The driver was a genius at packing up his truck and orchestrating both the loading and unloading. Corrigan's main office people were wonderful to work with both before and after the move. We would definitely hire Corrigan to handle another move.

Excellent. The nice gentlemen were punctual and very accommodating.

They charged me a high price to store my stuff. They have my stuff, but I have no idea where it is. Once they have your stuff, you cannot get them to call you back. I had to talk to the general manager to try and get answers. When I finally did get answers, they delayed the delivery from the normal time for their convenience.

They did well.   There was some damage, which was handled efficiently and swiftly!  Very painless.

On time and budget. Some minor furniture damage that was taken care of by the company. Two day process with one of the movers on the second day a new individual. He needed close supervision.

From the quoting process to the final delivery, it all went smoothly. Nothing was missing or broke. Everything happened on time. The main office did a good job of communicating with us during the whole process.

Under horrible snow and bad weather conditions....Corrigan was unable to pick up our goods with the expected large truck that just could not get down our snow clogged street.  They brought in two small trucks and four men who loaded our goods on the small trucks and moved them to the local warehouse.  They were later loaded on the large truck that delivered them to us in SC.
Loading, unloading, reloading and delivering is not the ideal situation...But it went excellent.  Nothing was lost or misplaced.  We had one mixing bowl broken, a cabinet leg broken, some veneer slightly chipped, a handle lost....but under extremely adverse conditions these were very minor and the entire move went very well.
All of the staff were professional and courteous.  They showed concern for our property.  Steve and Terry who were our move coordinators kept us informed and were always responsive.  The estimate was well done and WeAre getting some money back!  I would highly recommend Corrigan to anyone looking for an easy move with low hassles.
As a former Navy family we have moved many times.....this ranks high among the easiest ever!

They moved me from Grand Rapids MI to Rehoboth Beach DE. They made it a very positive experience. Professional, responsive, adaptable, efficient & fun. I had to store most everything in storage then move the rest to a temporary condo. I won't know the condition of everything until I move to a permanent location but they appeared to take appropriate care, taking pride in their work.

The office staff at Corrigan was ok - I had to ask a couple of times for a quote and the coordinator did not seem to grasp the size and scope of how large this job was despite my explanation - HOWEVER - the men who moved the furniture into the PODS were absolutely amazing - given that I had never done a move like this, they explained that I needed to purchase about 25 furniture pads so they could make sure every piece was secure (something the coordinator should have suggested) they stayed busy while I found furniture pads and wrapped absolutely everything & cubed the storage pod securely.  Very friendly and polite.

They did an excellent job. Nothing was damaged. They were on time and worked efficiently and carfeully. The office staff was fabulous in helping us with a move date and all the packing materials we would need. Very professional from the bid to the last box being unpacked. Highly recommend

They did a fabulous job packing. The move happened during late November and early December got us through the snow and the weather. I would hire them again and I have used them 2-3 times before.

The basement is were the laundry resides and it wasn't easy to get the washer and dryer down there. We thought for a time that it was perhaps not going to be possible. The Corrigan men made it work and set the units in place. Their associate arrived almost immediately after after to connect and test. The dryer was the problem child here. As it had a 3 prong electrical connector, to the electrical 4 prong box. No worries, end was re-terminated with the appropriate end on the spot, both tested OK.
